Next episode is one of the best of season 4

Libby

Yes Damon was entertaining Elena, but he was watching her to make sure she didn't kill anyone. At least that woman is still alive.

Libby

Damon does NOT like her this way. Now he may want her to stay a vampire cause he wants to be with her forever but with her emotions ON. He'll still love her if she's human, we've seen that. Damon is playing her. If Damon wanted her to just stay like this he wouldn't be pursuing the cure.

I’m enjoying Elena in this regard she’s fun yes brutal but honest this episode was fun unlike episode 15 which was sad. But at what cost this fun and bold elena lasts we shall see. Damon doesn’t like her this way as Libby said or else he wouldn’t have been looking for the cure. He is just giving her a good time with her humanity being off and letting her have some fun but he is also keeping a watch on her to not do anything extreme!!

I think the best point brought up during this is how Klaus get's his revenge, fear and paranoia, not killing someone. I mean think about Katherine, she's been running from him for 500 years, he had the chance to kill her, but didn't. So she is still running from him, while also ruining all chances she has a normal life, happiness, and other matters. He's doing the same with Tyler, the mind can be the greatest torture device of them all.
