We spent s2 hearing Kathrine and Elaina as the Petrova doppelgangers only to discover it goes back much further. Multiple Silas&Amara dopples through time and always paired in time (?)

Yes, that's Agent Piper from AOS ❤

Welcome to Sire Bond 2.0 as I like to call it, "Doppelganger Destiny". Though the title of this Episode Original Sin is very important to the story, and the history of the show as well, with out this original sin, no dopplegangers, and thus no Original Family.

I really like the history of the doppelgängers etc Stefan fell in love with both Elena and Katherine very interesting now what happens with Damon will be interesting imagine how hard this will be for him. Stefan’s always been everyone’s first choice from his dad to Katherine to Elena just everyone and now when he’s with Elena he gets to know this though he’s with Elena now hearing all this surely can have an impact on anyone cause it’s facts but vl see what happens. I really liked what Damon tells Elena about her being his life their so cute 😭😻❤️You finally meet Quetsiyah - hope I spelled it right lol I too like this name a lot better sounds very cool she’s badass and she’s gorgeous perfect for the role. Paul as Silas in those flashbacks- ancient Stefan 😂 OMG so dam hot 🥵

I didn't realize so many people didn't catch onto the fact that the doppelganger that created the Originals was NOT the first one. Ester flat out says that she used the doppleganger blood to create vampires. So clearly she knew about dopplegangers and that this wasn't the first one. Rebecca says the blood lust was unexpected. I now think that using Amara/doppleganger blood was the CAUSE of their bloodlust left over from the original immortality spell.

In 4x23 I was super confused as to why Bonnie wanted to learn the immortality spell from Quetsiyah and not the CURE spell. Now "Tessa" is here... WHHHHYYYY aren't they asking her to create more cure in exchange for helping her with Silas???

LOL, I'm happy some one else thought of this actually. It's one of those odd story points that they want the viewer not to really question. Yet once you do ask that question, it just leaves you scratching your head overall. It goes back to even with Esther and the spell to turn the Original back to humans? Well if that spell exists, isn't there some other spell that could exist to undo vampirism as well, that doesn't rely on the cure?
