That dome shaped building in the beginning you saw when Rhaenyra was flying past Red Keep was Dragonpit. That's were the dragonkeepers were taking Syrax into. Dragon pit had a dome in the beginning. Sept of Baelor wasn't built yet. It's built after the Dance I believe.

There was a Weirwood tree in Kingslanding always. Even during Game of Thrones. In the books it says Sansa used to go there and pray or just go there to avoid people since the red wedding (as she stopped praying after that event).

☝️☝️☝️ I will have to stay away from the comments or leave altogether if this sort of book-reader overexplaining is allowed. I am a firm believer in letting the show unfold without people in the know clarifying every single thing in the pilot. The things that are not clear now (even if they are not spoilers) will be clarified as we go along. And that's ok. For example, Aemma's origin was not mentioned in the show. It may not be a spoiler but I don't need to learn this shit from randos. If it matters the show will tell me in good time. So please chill.

I agree, clarifying things like that building being the dragon pit seems fine and other mistakes maybe, but lets not go into the background on characters lol.

Really excited for this series!! I will say though, the way they ended the episode was bittersweet. Sweet because it ties in game of thrones nicely and makes sense of the dagger stuff. Bitter because of how they did daenerys at the end of got. It just made the ending worse for me imo... How are you gonna tie in the prophecy like that (which imo is clearly about dany, hence the '172 years before her birth' and the LoL prophecy of 'waking dragons from stone and being born from salt and smoke (dragon stone & shes unburnt)) and then end the way they did. (Still profiting and using daenerys as bait for the series I see...) Anyways, I'm so excited to see this story play out. Daemon is definitely my favourite at the moment. He is just always smirking about something. Did he even say "the heir for a day"? We didnt see it... Just Otto, who we know HATES him

That line at the end about a Targaryen strong enough to unite the kingdoms against the darkness needed to be on the throne made me even more pissed off about Jons ending in GoT.

Ya, feel like it is actually supposed to mean Jon. Targaryens have a history of misinterpreting dreams and prophecies. And the fact that they have teased a Jon Snow sequel leads me to believe they might really trying to foreshadow that. I don't see how the Jon Snow sequel could be about much else than Jon diving deeper into his heritage being that one of the biggest disappointments was his Targaryen heritage plot going nowhere.
