A Communal Retirement (Patreon)

Happy Valentine's Day! To celebrate the holiday of love, I've decided to share with you a short story I originally wrote for an anthology. "A Communal Retirement" is about a middle-aged grizzly bear named William who is retiring from his city job to reunite with his separated husband, who lives in an eco-village commune and is eager to welcome him into his community.

While it didn't make the cut, I still feel like the themes and love story fit perfectly. If you enjoyed the story and want to see more like it, feel free to leave a comment down below. Thank you!
