I agree with Cinder here. Pix isn't the most reliable Pokémon to handle someone with the opposite typing AKA Lucky. Given how he acts towards him....yikes.

I'm glad we finally got more insight into the thought process behind pairing Pix with Lucky. It's rather bold, but I understand Chief's thought of wanting to bring out the best in all the scouts. Pix has a ton of potential and skill but is really held back by his ego and issues. However, the thought of Pix becoming a lieutenant is kind of scary. I'm happy Cinder is looking for Lucky; despite her tough exterior, she really does care about the scouts. Also, we finally get to see Lucky's stat spread, and he has a lot of hidden talents and strengths; he just needs the proper training to bring out that potential. Loved this set of pages!

I'm 100% just like Cinder here. I kinda see a point in the headmaster's plan, but i still think it's an incredibly dangerous one considering how... well, dangerous and kinda derranged Pix is. Good to know that at least the headmaster is (seemingly) willing to take responsability if something goes wrong and is also considerate enough to have a good guy like Cinder watch over them.

True, but Lucky's speed stat is higher than most Umbreon, most likely from his less bulky physique, and his Sp. Atk stat is moderately higher as well.

Its on sight with chief cause handing an explicit minority to a violent, predatory, racist rookie with extra stripes as a fucking redemption test until he decides not to be a psychopath or out right breaks his stress toy is villian behavor. I dont care if they become friends by the end of it, if im lucky im about to billy butcher a senior citizen. Cinder is best bird for looking out. Really wanna know what the hell is happening under the surface that chief needs the support Pix brings to the achademy this bad. 9/10.

He's not racist, now knock it off. That LUXRAY is infinitely more racist than Pix could ever be. Pix LITERALLY radiates "toxic to dark types energy" , which, as Ampharos has stated VERY clearly, seems to to part of his decision. He has to learn to behave himself, improve, and CONTROL THAT ABILITY before he can become a lieutenant.
