Pix just got hooked on a new drug, and it goes by "Lucky". Also, big props to Lucky getting himself under control, telling Pix off and doing the right thing by reporting Pix when he easily (and understandably) throw a punch.

The way Pix's facade crumbled to desperation was beautiful. Pix wanted Lucky to quit, but hearing Lucky say he was specifically under Pix's mentorship shook his perfectionist complex the fact that Lucky added he was also going to tell everyone what had been happening, possibly landing Pix's reputation in hot water, sent him into full panic mode. What the chief said about Lucky was right: he takes pressure and throws it right back, and now the recruit has control over the model sergeant. I'm loving this so far!

I'm glad Lucky feels the exact same way I do and like not to get on a soapbox, but I'm gonna be real, I hope no one *unironically* finds any "yeah I like this character" vibes in Pix in a "stanning" manner. Especially with the current Helluva Boss discourse going on right now.

No, you're thinking of dragon types. Fairies don't take damage from Dragon type moves. That being said, Dark does have a double-sided disadvantage vs Fairy so you're not wholly wrong either. And I would not be surprised if Pix attacks him haha. He's in a complete state of mania and this is the second time within the span of a few hours an outburst is potentially about to cost him something. If he does, he might do it under some crazy pretense.

Oh she don't need to be there if Lucky is responsible enough to walk away. Cinder already has oodles of evidence with her own ears and eyeballs that this has been happening. The second Lucky walks into either her or the Chief's office, the Slyveon is COOKED.

As someone who has been genuinely unwell before, Pix is a scarily familiar character. 'Mania' is the perfect term for it. I don't think people talk about just how unwell Pix actually is, because they think 'haha, funny cute twink Sylveon' and not 'This guy is literally delusional and in need of serious therapy.' I would not be shocked if his upbringing had a lot to do with his racism, either. All Pix had to do was train lucky. He could have been done in a few weeks and went on his merry way. But he couldn't because he turned it into something it never was; an insult. Everything is his way or the highway. Sorry for the rant, I'm just one of those people who overanalyzes characters lmao

My interpretation is that Lucky has the humanoid dichotomy where he loves his mother enough to travel overseas to discover what happened to her, but enough repressed trauma to have emotionally charged thoughts about the whole situation.

Lucky is making the right move by leaving Pix to report him that's for sure, just like Nova told him "don't let that fairy push you around". But I don't think Pix is just going to let his new plaything just walk away after getting that rush of adrenaline, he's tweaking out for more berserk Dark-Type energy. Pix is switching gears from "I've got to get rid of this Eevee-mutt" to "I'm never letting him out of my reach".

Lucky is judging all sylveon based off of the actions of Pix, who is a shithead. It is, but its also complicated because Lucky is a dark type and dark types appear to be traditionally ostracized. So like, im not going to judge Lucky for what he said here all that hard. But this is exactly what it is, judging the actions of groups based off of the behavior of an individual is not a good headspace to wind up in.

As a character? I love Pix, I think his arc has the potential to be one of the most profound and gratifying if it's heading where I think it's heading. Pix stocks are gonna be up in the future, I can just feel it. As an in-universe person, though? Yeah dude's a military-grade cunt and a wackass. I doubt he'll get torn down completely, though, as being a vain cunt is still quintessential Pix. Either way, he got what he deserved here. 🙌 Viva la Lucky Firestar 🌙
