The ironic part about this song is that it was released years ago, yet Turkey back then was actually better than it is now. It said, 'If you stay silent, your turn will come,' and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. For instance, the lyric mentioning that there won't even be a newspaper left to report the news because they’ll all be in prison has turned out to be true. Journalists who tell the truth have been in prison for years. Even if they weren't telling the truth, no one should be imprisoned for what they write. Anyway, because of this, the media in Turkey has become completely one-sided. Everyone is afraid and remains silent. Anyone who refused to stay quiet and spoke up—youths, journalists, and politicians—has been thrown in jail. Journalist Fatih Altaylı, someone I’ve known of since my childhood and whose opinions are highly valued in Turkey, is currently in prison; sometimes I can't help but laugh when I think about the absurdity of it. Furthermore, the scream used in the section about women's rights isn't actually a woman’s; it’s the scream of her child. When a woman was murdered in broad daylight by her ex-husband, who slit her throat, her young daughter was right there and witnessed everything. Other people on the street were too afraid to intervene, so all that remains is a video recording. The audio from that recording was used in this song. In the audio, the girl is screaming mom and begging for help. The judge who released the killers of Tugce and Busra is just one real-life example. Both were young girls, and despite being murdered, their killers were not held accountable. Even today, there are many killers walking free in Turkey because justice is dead. Finally, before I forget, the man performing the vocals and the rap is named Ozbi.

Hello! I really like the way you analyze videos. Unlike most reaction videos, you don’t just watch and move on — you actually research and share your thoughts with us. So far, my favorite series has been the Turkish rap and Turkish rock videos. Rather than the newer stuff, older Turkish music is truly unique. You might also want to check out these songs: • 3 Hürel – Sevenler Ağlarmış (there’s a lot on YouTube, but check the Anatolian Rock Revival Project channel) • Ezhel – Aya • Cem Adrian – Summertime • Pentagram – Lions in the Cage • Also the song “BİR” • Ceza – Beatcoin • Athena – For Real • Şebnem Ferah – you watched one before, but her other concert videos are great too • Barış Manço – Trip Fairground • Pamela – İstanbul • Sertab Erener – Aşk • Baneva – Alaturka Hope you have fun watching them 🤟🏻

Hi Sammy, I did join patreon to watch this. Please make an exception and consider publishing this on youtube after the hype ends, I think its worth to convey the message of the song. Btw, the animal rights part made such an impact on me that I JUST started monthly donations to a non-profit. THANKS!
