The CRUSH story begins with the Idol House Türkiye Final! I’m reacting to the final three group performances before watching the official line-up reveal that brought CRUSH together.

We’re watching Group A perform Killin’ It Girl, Group B perform Dudak and Group C perform Beat It, followed by the final announcement revealing which seven contestants made the group.

Thank you so much for supporting the channel! ❤️

This final is the culmination of the Idol House Türkiye competition, where the contestants trained and competed across vocals, dance and stage performance for a place in Türkiye’s new boy group.

I’m diving into each final performance, comparing the different groups and looking at the contestants’ vocals, choreography, stage presence and chemistry before finding out who will officially debut together.

The final line-up brings together Oğuzhan Çifçi, Batu Cengiz, Barış Yüksekkaya, Miraç Fırat, Milan Önder, Arda Soydoğan and Efe Şan as the seven members of CRUSH.

Actually, they are between 18 and 25 years old, and the reason they’re so close is that they’ve been sharing the same house and even the same rooms for the past 3 to 4 months (they were actually saying 3 to 4, but ranslation translated it as 34, haha). The show consists of two different types of episodes: Idol House Journals and Performances. Over these past few months, we really bonded with them through the Journals because they became truly close friends. They all genuinely love and support each other, and they had so many fun moments as well as many emotional ones together. If you watch the Journals, you can get to know them much better... Also, Oğuzhan is the person you liked the most in the "Crush" music video. When he sent greetings to his father, mother, and brother in that video—sadly, his brother passed away a few years ago. He is someone carrying that grief. I hope you watch more of their content because you’re really going to love how genuine they are. Oh, and before I forget, the guy standing in the middle—the one who supported everyone, whom you said you hoped made it into the group—is Can. Unfortunately, he didn't make it into the Crush group, but due to popular demand, a second group is going to debut, and Can will be part of that one.

For watching, I recommend Journal Ep. 23 it's 24 minutes long and a video where they are completely having fun. Unfortunately, you can only see the English subtitles if you turn on auto-translation, but overall the translation is fairly accurate. Plus, it's a video focused more on them playing games rather than long conversations.

Hi Sam, thanks for the reaction! 😊 If you have a chance, could you also watch all three performances of the song “fein!” from the same final video? I think you’ll really enjoy them, the boys wrote their own rap verses, and i think they are really impressive. 🥰

Hi! I've been really enjoying your videos for a long time, and seeing you watch this made me so happy. I noticed that some of the viewers shared some information about Idol House, and I'd love to add a few more things. Oğuzhan's speech really touched all of us. One of the main reasons everyone on stage got so emotional is that a few years ago, Oğuzhan was involved in a tragic accident in which he lost his older brother and two cousins. He was also seriously injured, and after recovering, he started seeing his life as a second chance. He's also the oldest trainee in the show (26yo) and is seen as an older brother figure by many of the other trainees. Since they all live together and we get daily episodes showing not only their training but also their everyday lives and friendships, we've all become really attached to them. For your next reaction, I definitely recommend watching the FEIN performances from the finale. There's a section where they perform rap verses that they wrote themselves, and they're honestly really impressive. All three groups performed the same song, and in each group, the trainee who performed the rap verse ended up making the final lineup (Milan, Barış, and Miraç). You can find the FEIN performances starting at 59:30 in the same video—they perform one after another. By the way, my personal favorite is Barış. Besides having such a smooth, velvety voice and being an amazing rapper, he's also well known for his songwriting. I really hope you'll continue making videos about the show!

I'd also like to mention one more thing. Barış (the sixth member to be selected—the one who asked for the banners to be shown to their parents) had already released his own music before joining *Idol House*. He wrote and composed his songs himself, and because he couldn't afford a producer, he taught himself music production and produced them on his own. As the competition went on, many of the trainees started covering Barış's songs to show their support. His song **"Ölmekten Beter (Worse than Death)"** became especially popular thanks to the show. I'm mentioning this because he references that song in two important moments. First, in his rap verse during the *FEIN* performance, there's a reference to **"Worse than Death."** Then, after being selected, he said, *"I told you 'I'd write my name on those streets',"* which is also a callback to one of the lyrics from that same song.

Another interesting fact is that Barış and Milan had no formal dance training before joining the competition. They first went through just one month of intensive dance training, and then spent the next two months learning new choreographies for new songs every single week. In other words, they've only been dancing for about three months. Efe also had no formal dance background before the show. The only experience he had was teaching himself popular TikTok dance trends. Arda, on the other hand, learned to dance by filming and practicing dance covers on the streets from a young age. Like the others, he never received any professional dance training.

The first time I watched this man it made me so emotional. All of those guys are so sweet and good people. Btw he didn’t say 34, he said 3-4, and then it looked like 34 in the subtitles 😅

You should react to their performances at least

It’s crazy how strongly you bond with a group when you spend all your time together, so I completely understand the emotion! I’m heartbroken to hear that about Oguzhan. I can’t imagine what he was feeling up on that stage. I’m also glad they decided to debut another group with the other members. I look forward to seeing them!🙏🏻❤️
