Mrs. GREEN APPLE LIVE: Studio to Stadium – 3 Performances Reaction (Patreon)

🇯🇵 The Mrs. GREEN APPLE journey continues LIVE, with three more songs for the first time! After exploring A Posteriori, New My Normal and Kyohan on YouTube, we’re discovering another side of the band through three complete live-performance reactions.

We’re starting with Part of me, followed by BFF, both from Studio Session Live #3. Then we’re heading into the stadium for Dear from Weltraum — moving from intimate arrangements to a much bigger stage!

Thank you so much for supporting the channel! ❤️

Part of me opens the bonus with its Studio Session Live #3 performance, released in November 2024. Originally from the band’s 2022 mini-album Unity, the song explores separation, the fear of being forgotten and the value of the happiness we experience together. This arrangement adds a distinctive cello opening, giving us a different way into one of Ohmori’s most personally demanding songs to write.

Next is BFF — “Best Friends Forever” — from the same session. Originally released on ANTENNA in 2023, it’s described as Ohmori’s musical letter to Wakai and Fujisawa, thanking the people who believe in your dreams and stay beside you through difficult days. The original recording featured just the three members; this version brings in strings and winds while preserving that personal connection.

Finally, Dear takes us to the band’s 2024 Weltraum stadium tour. Written as the theme song for the film Dear Family, it explores finding the strength to keep living and loving through uncertainty and loss. After the closeness of the studio performances, we get to experience that message on a stadium scale.

Let me know which performance connected with you most — and which Mrs. GREEN APPLE song or live performance I should experience next! 🇯🇵💗
