The friend of Zeha's father is Hupo. He mentioned that Zeha's mother was of the Gom tribe. Also, when that sword of Zeha's showed him it's past, it showed him people with rounded ears on top of their heads. "Gom" means "bear" in Korean, just like "beom" means "tiger". As for the new guy, he probably isn't part beom, or Maru and Bulti would have at least smelled that on him. We don't know who or what he is yet. Haru is a rock, after all. Hupo also said that humans were the descendants of the Gom tribe. Zeha is half-tiger, half-bear. It's a little easier to recognize them if you pay attention to their clothes. These are creatures who can change their bodies, including their faces, so it can be difficult to recognize them by face. Bulti, however, always has that red jacket on. When Maru's face changed towards the end, he was transforming, summoning his power, to try and break free of the stranger's hold. It didn't work. There's no way that a human could have held two Beom down like that, so that's how Maru knew that the stranger wasn't human.

That's an interesting theory but, honestly, I don't think so. He appeared out of shadow and is trying to make a deal with them. That doesn't seem like something that someone who's a beom hunter would do. To me, anyway. Also, Hosu uses a sickle and chain weapon. The stranger didn't need a weapon to overpower two high level beom.
