I’m gonna do my best to explain the pronunciation of Seojun😂 Another way to write it is Seojoon! The ‘seo’ is pronounced the same way as you would pronounce the beginning of the word ‘song’ or ‘sorry’ (therefore ‘soh’ not ‘so’) And ‘jun’ is just ‘joon’ (same way you pronounce nam’joon’) I hope that helped! You can always listen to the pronunciation on Google translate if not😂

So easiest way of describing Wooga Squad and giving its history and its members is that: Wooga is an abbreviation for the Korean phrase ‘are we a family?’ There are until now 5 official members… Seo-Joon (real name Yong-Kyu which he is called a few times here) and Peakboy (real name Sung-Hwan again called that here) they went to the same elementary school, high school etc. Seo-Joon and Woo-Shik met on a drama and became friends. Then in 2016 Seo-Joon met Tae and Hyung-Sik on the set of the k-drama Hwarang. They hit it off really well and Seo-Joon introduced them to the other two. And so Wooga began. They have been mentioned and seen in BTS content before from Tae’s first V-log, mentioned in 5th muster making film as they sent a coffee truck and run BTS eps and members lives and Tae’s and each others social media etc. Yumi is not part of it. She is a close colleague friend of Seo-Joon’s because of Yoon’s kitchen, Youn’s Stay and Woo Shik from starring in Train to Busan and Youn’s Stay and a Na PD spin-off with just Woo Shik and Yumi (which Seo-Joon guested in and Tae appeared via video call) Other people considered a part of the wider friends group are Woo-Shik’s brother and JK is now considered pretty much an adopted member too. Before people suspected that JK was friends with them too because Woo-Shik and his brother used to follow only JK aside from Tae on Insta and Woo Shik used to like more of his posts than Tae’s. But this past year and a bit since chapter 2 we have seen that JK is also good friends with them not only hanging out with them but gaming with them too: He was hanging out with them at Hobi’s Album listening party even when Tae wasn’t there. Woo-Shiks brother posted a pic of Tae, JK and Woo Shik going bowling before JK went to Qatar. Hyung Sik, Tae and JK were spotted by none army and K-army skiing in Dec. Tae mentioned in his live about them gaming together with JK there too. Seo-Joon, Hyung Sik, Tae and JK went to Park Hyo Shin’s musical together. Hyung Sik, JK and Tae were spotted bowling together. JK sat with Hyung Sik and Tae during the recent Harry Styles concert and entered and left with them separately from Namjoon and Yoongi. Tae and JK also went to support Seo-Joon at the Dream premier with Hyung Sik and Woo Shik. Plus Tae posted them all hanging out on his Insta video after the premier too. So safe to say that now they are all close friends which is why you see all the recent ARMY posts on social media that JK is a part of them Anyways I digress haha hope this info helps to clarify their history and so glad you are watching this show… it’s so relaxing and wholesome to watch!
