Retsune Updated Design Sheet (Patreon)

The Retsune are the most populated species in all of Vidamorta; the world where all my monster OCs take place. They are incredibly varied in subspecies with a record amount of cross-species breedings.

They're one of very few species that experience noticeable gender dymorphism. While the men look almost human aside from their markings and facial features, the women have animalistic ears and tails.

Their unique ability is being able to transform into a more animalistic form when struck with the sense of intense fear or anger. Men turn into the anthropomorphic version of their species class, while women turn into the animal itself.

Culturally, the males have a long history of initiating battles and driving forward as honourable soldiers, while female Retsune were expected to stay home and take care of the children. Even to this day, they have a very sexist and traditional lifestyle which most other species aren't too fond of.
