A competitor has arrived to challenge the 1906 Renault! However, the 1907 Itala 36/45 is really down on power, and its top end is nearly 30 mph slower than the Renault. The Itala's only real chance at victory will be on tight circuits where drivers can use its 4 speed gearbox and slightly better brakes in an attempt to earn a tough win.NOTE: This car requires the use of the handbrake because the rear drum brakes are activated by the handbrake. Meanwhile the brake pedal activates only the brake located on the drive shaft. There are NO front brakes. Working the brake pedal and the handbrake correctly is essential for fast lap times.DOWNLOAD LINK: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ew6jPVmBxBj505SYAxebsPA3Ry3J7Gcz?usp=sharingRecommended tracks:1. 1920s Fonteny:https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/fonteny.30137/ & https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/dirty-old-town.41531/ (you may need to disable the extra smoke & dust affects within content manager or you won't be able to see anything due to the dust).2. 1930s Monaco: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wNax_RQkL1JETFFXye1smh_zQjB5cBUX/view1907 Itala 36/45 (beta 0.52) current issues:  1. 467k tris in LOD A2. This could be - and is - the start of something really, really good. I can certainly see how the Itala is capable of beating the Renault on tighter tracks too...the braking is far superior, if only because you're not having to come down from upwards of 80 miles an hour in the first place, and the handling is fantastically sharp. The constant adjustments and re-adjustments I'm making in the Renault, forever sawing at the wheel, just aren't necessary with the Itala, which again I'm sure is thanks to the lack of oomph but is also very effective. The two machines are almost the perfect metaphor for the great battle of motor racing that will last as long as racing does: brute force is good for long straights and fast tracks, but it counts for nothing without agility - you can be as agile and precise as you like, but if you can't catch up with the bloke in front, you're never going to win...

This is a nice car to drive. Feels like a Sunday drive when putting this around the Nürburgring Gesamtstrecke. It's interesting how 67mph was the "200mph" of back in the day.

I don't know what happened in my first installation of the mod because it didn't work, now I have reinstalled it again and it works perfectly

I don't know whether it's because of the implementation of the suspension physics or what, but going across uneven-cambered corners like Nords' Kleines Carousel can sometimes result in one of the front wheels completely folding in.
