This episode is W I L D !!! Once again I feel like you really captured all the complexities - I felt EXACTLY the same about the convo between Gil and Zion… like we know Gil is absolute human garbage and Zion obviously can tell he’s a sleaze but doesn’t know that he’s an actual abuser- so basically we’re watching Gil manipulate Zion because his motivations are to control Georgia which he does through Austin- but it works because like you said what he’s saying in that moment is actually correct and Zion ends up listening to him because HIS intentions are to make sure his daughter is in a safe and stable environment. And this whole ep I like you was mad at Georgia for not being there for her kids in the way she needs to be but then at the end when Ginny was in crisis she stepped up and owned her mistakes so that her daughter didn’t have to take them on. And then to go FROM THAT immediately into the kids getting ripped away… oh my god heart wrenching 💔
