I feel like Marcus response would be if it was him instead of Wolfe would be “oh what do you want to do?”. I think he would be surprised to but be supportive and ask questions what Ginny wants to do.

I think he could have handled his reaction and choice of words better than what he did.

I agree but we also have to remember that he's 16 and they've known each other for almost 2 weeks. He should have had a better reaction, but it was an abrupt thing for the both of them. Also, Marcus knew her longer and if it was season 1 Marcus before he truly gained feelings for Ginny, he would've reacted the same way.
