So my interpretation about what Amanda was doing and her thought process: First she already slightly started to feel bad for betraying Emily when Tyler mentioned that Emily tried to frame him for Frank. In other words, Emily was trying to protect Amanda and pin Frank on someone else. Then she runs away from Tyler and GETS AWAY FROM HIM. As we see Tyler with Daniel, while Amanda is with Jack. So she went Jack, fully intending to actually leave with him. Then Jack tells her about how Emily stood up for her and told him to not give up on her. The car honking was just the uber she actually took to get to Jack, and which she also took to get to the beach. So then Amanda decides that she has to save Emily/stop Tyler. And thats how she ends up on the beach over a dead Tyler. We just don´t really know what exactly happened between Tyler holding Daniel at gunpoint and Tyler being dead with Amanda right there.
