Whitaker walked in on Robby’s panic attack, but Langdon knows about it too — he says the night nurse saw it. And then he uses that information in the ambulance bay to pressure Robby not to report him. Robby basically folds and tells him to go do therapy. Which means the theft never actually gets properly reported. So the system “handles” Langdon’s addiction but quietly sidesteps the controlled-substance theft and medication tampering… and Santos, the one who reported it, gets zero whistleblower protection. Cool cool cool. So I’m really not with you on the Santos take yet again. Santos owes Langdon nothing. Him strolling back in and assuming he can just resume teaching her like nothing happened? The audacity is kind of impressive. Every eyeroll she gives him feels earned. And Garcia taking Langdon’s side tracks, honestly. Even in S1 she was annoyed at Santos for “causing trouble.” The system keeps punishing the person who reported the problem. In any normal hospital that’s firing-and-possibly-arrest territory. Instead he takes a leave, comes back, and is still above Santos in the hierarchy. Of course she says she became a pariah. If Robby buried the theft, everyone else probably just thinks she reported his addiction and torpedoed his career. So yeah. Santos is right. I will absolutely die on that hill. (I guess if Langdon has no haters left, assume I am dead) Also the Mel/Langdon thing still feels extremely Tumblr-coded to me. They met for like… a day ten months ago. Why is this being treated like a life-defining relationship. The math is not mathing.

Santos pisses me off this episode like Landon is still your boss and he knows more than you just because you have beef doesn’t mean you can’t listen

I understand santos' frustration at langdon in this episode to some degree cause of what he did to her in season 1 and at this point he hasn't apologized for it and just came back trying to act like nothing happened and in teacher mode when you can tell that he knows he needs to apologize but still hasn't for some reason.
