Wind River- Thank you very much for watching such an incredible and powerful movie I love for me, for the month of March, Jessie!!! I am so happy you truly enjoyed it! Yes... This movie is absolutely so heavy and so heartbreaking, but so, so good! I just finished watching your reaction to Wind River, and I know it messed you up pretty good. I am so, so sorry. I am so happy you loved it, but I am sorry for messing you up such as this movie has. It really messed me up the first time I watched it in the theaters too, and I still cry every time I watch this movie. I can't stop myself. Wind River is such a powerful and emotional movie! And it is definitely a movie that needs and deserves to be watched. It should have won awards for it, but I feel that this is a movie that has been sadly overlooked. Both Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen are absolutely incredible in this movie!! As are Graham Greene and the others in this movie too! Rest in peace, Graham Greene, who sadly died sometime midway last year. I have loved him in a number of movies, just as I have loved Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen in a number of their movies as well!! Jeremy Renner has grown to become one of my favorite actors over the years. I love him in so many of his movies, and his chemistry with Elizabeth Olsen, both here in Wind River and in the Avengers movies, is phenomenal!! I love them! :) What a powerful and heartbreaking story and message Wind River shares with us! It's heartbreaking to know these things happen as often as these do to these poor Native American women. But wow!!! This story within this movie may be fictional, but it is based on events that really have happened, and happen more than we know. I love how often Jeremy Renner's character talks to people about how Natalie was a fighter, upon seeing she had run six miles in such cold and brutal snowy weather, while barefoot. How he talks about Natalie, his own daughter, Emily, and then about Jane in the end as well... So powerful and so emotional. What incredible acting by Jeremy Renner!! And I love the similarities between Natalie and his daughter's story. And how by saving Jane... Elizabeth Olsen's character, and by helping Natalie, his character is able to find some sense of comfort and peace after being unable to find out the truth behind his own daughter's death. And I love his friendship and fight to help Natalie's father find some sense of comfort and peace after his daughter's death too. Absolutely incredible! Thankfully, the scumbags who murdered Natalie and Matt, after he bravely tried to protect the woman he loved, all got exactly what they deserved in the end. I feel the same as you do. The worst of these men deserved to die in worse conditions, but his death and how he died was just desserts no doubt. And poetic justice, given that he died in the same way Natalie died, though much more quickly like nothing more than a coward and pathetic being deserves. Thank you very much once more for watching Wind River for me, Jessie!! I am so happy you really loved it, despite it messing you up. Take care, my dear friend! You're amazing! :) Sincerely, Heidi
