Scott Michael Campbell is the rookie EMT with Shep. He is very much 'Hey it's that guy' popping in a ton of stuff. His longest role was in Shameless I believe, but not sure where you are recognizing him from. The missed diagnosis and legal advice I think is basically reflective of the era.

You know what kills me. Benton still left thinking it's about some sort of ''code''. He didn't understood anything. Doug was trying to help the patient and while I agree that the secret shouldn't have been kept, it still hurt that kid the most. Also, we all know why Peter was more inclined to tell this time. It's not like he had a problem with morally gray areas before, including sleeping with a married woman. And also just not caring about his patients that much

Yeah, and it's easier to believe there's some sort of ''club'' or ''code'' which you went against than take personal responsibility for your actions towards other peopl

Your rationale to Carter's mistake is so odd to me. It seems very normal to me for when you worry about something soo much that once that's passed and you get that feeling of relief you are in the mood to celebrate. Of course, he screwed up but to say it's because he has things just coming to him seems so odd, when we've seen him soo incredibly dedicated to his job - i think only Peter has shown more dedication and ambition than Carter at this point out of all main characters. Honestly these stumbles don't say anything to me about Carter's character and I am convinced they are just there to show that despite how mature he is sometimes and how good of a med student is, he's still growing up and will stumble sometimes.

Sure, it is absolutely perfectly normal to be in the mood to celebrate after the feeling of relief, but not while you are working. While you are still on shift you do not go get drunk with your partner, that's like job etiquette 101 lol Aside from being inappropriate, as dedicated as he usually is, it shows a total disregard for how dedicated he should be now that he passed. I love Carter, he's definitely one of my favorites, but he has a ton of growing up to do.

Yep completely agree. Just one of the many mishaps on becoming a great doctor!
