As you can see by the amount of stems here, this was produced by someone who is smarter and better at production than I am (it's Jonah Scott).

This song turned out so good because of him, and I'm so stoked that he could help out. I'm also extremely happy that I could include a file called "JustOneDay_GRUNT.wav" on this post. I didn't even realize it was there in the mix until he sent me the stems (it shows up in the Dale bridge). It just goes to show you how important the little things are.

I know its a fairly obvious read, but I appreciate that you put both the effort into making sure Dale was as Normal As Possible, while also making damn sure that he had the most technically proficient singing voice of the four. ... An annoying number of googles later, and I have learned that the word for the singing thing I wanted to describe is called "melisma". Dale does some good melismatic vocals! EDIT: they all do the melismatic thing. I stand mistaken! The rest of my point stands.

Me and my personalities trying to explain why I should buy whatever I see. I can't stop listening :)

I cannot stop playing this song, it's so GOOD

RoxyPop

would you be alright with it if i used some of these stems to try and make a remix? this song rules and id love to play around with it :3

Okay so maybe this is a little too out there and into conspiracy territory. But the first few verses of the song seem to be in Bb, but then Dale's verse is in G, which if I remember my music theory classes correctly(it's been a few years), is the relative minor of Bb. Was this intended to be kind of like Dale is the sad part of the group? (However, this could also just be that it's in G because that would lead to a Nice lead into B) Edit: And then we move up a half step once Dale is gone into the "happier" feeling key of B because he's no longer bothering them???? Mr. BDG please confirm?

i wish i was this smart, but the true reason i made the song like that was because i thought it sounded good. but from now on i’ll just pretend that’s why i did it

quinnntastic

this song and this video are SO GOOD. i'm especially in love with the costuming! where did that incredible floral number come from? because honestly that and the mustard overalls+beanie are true gender euphoria

It works so well, though! It's true! G minor is the parallel minor of Bb major! I wouldn't call it a key change, necessarily, you can spend a lot of time on the vi chord in any genre, but it's a real swank narrative analysis! We can read all kinds of horrible drama into the progressions! This is so fun! Look, I accidentally a chord chart. Love this! Gave my partner and I a really good laugh. Your singing voice is exceptionally wonderful and we look forward to the songs you make!

Caim

I love this so, so much xD

Chiang L

This is a serious jam! I've been watching the video over and over

pamdemonia

Okay so I upped my patreon cuz I've watched this at least 3 times a day since it came out. And it haunts me at work. So you win.

Benjamin Stevens

Well, according to the pleasure center in my brain, this is the only song I like now. Exciting development!

Charlie

It may be a long ways out but I'm already very interested (and somewhat afraid) to see where this is going to appear in my Spotify Wrapped for the year, considering I have a tendency to listen to the same songs over and over indefinitely and my brain took to this one like a leech. Too bad this is probably the end for 2winz². #rip2winz²

Dang

This is so amazing that you provided these stems and backing tracks, this is what made me become a patron!! This song is so good and I'm going to have fun playing around with it, thank you!!! You're awesome :D

This song has the honor of being the first song that has ever gotten stuck in my head.

AlyKat

8 year old me wished there was an easier way to listen to her 98° CD all the time. And now 30 year old me gets to have this song as her ringtone. Mission accomplished.

Phlemily

This song is my jam. I am in my car during a break at work and listening to it to hype myself for the rest of my shift

It's getting closer to 1 Million on Youtube! Congrats bdg and team this song, nay, production that is Twinz^2 (or is it Twinz^2-1 canonically now...) is just so damn impressive. I've been singing along in spring sunshine, i've been watching it again and again and just wanted to gush in a long winded comment about how much I enjoyed this so thanks! PS "he was talkin' about a different Dale" that JUUNYER sings is *chefs kiss

Charlie

hi brian! no idea how often you attend to patreon comments, but any chance you could provide a high-quality image of the 2winz² album cover? i'd like to have it for goofs.

Joey Two-Eyes

This is a late comment bc I'm a new patron, but the instrumental for this song makes me so happy. I've been listening to it on repeat on and off for a few days because it just makes me feel so relaxed and blissful. its good music.
