And I think that's all I've got for this post! I'll write a little Progress Report later this week, but for now, I'm gonna go do an autumnal puzzle and pretend it's Fall here in Los Angeles.

Just came back to say that to this very day, if I ever have to jump onto something, I automatically give it the ol’ “hiii-yop! Open enrollment-“

GREAT JOB BDG 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Kira S

You did a great job! I've had to engage with my health insurance semi-professionally (who loves disabling medical conditions!) and you really hit all the bases.

Jess Herron

It turned out FANTASTIC, Brian! What a behemoth of a research task and a wonderful video for probably everyone on the internet to watch and be both informed and horrified by for years to come. Wonderful job!

Michael Ben Silva III

Really good work, Brian. Thank you. Hoping I wasn’t the only one who both laughed and actually cried in a combination of anger and despair during their viewing.

AlyKat

I'm here exclusively for BDG saying "what a boon!" in response to seeing 2 woodpeckers.

rionsanura

absolutely smashing success i love bloopers i love this video i love autumnal puzzles

spacecadet

This turned out so good!

Shelley Gorak

We had baby squirrels that would sploot like that in the fork of our backyard tree last year when it got hot. I also had to check if they were OK but they were just chilling. Great work on the video! I hope non-US viewers are mortified.

Merina

Happy release day! What a huge success. and I take roughly, hmmm,,, two thousand pictures whenever the woodpeckers in the neighborhood visit me - so - I get it

Dominique Charbonneau

A-MA-ZING work! I'm from Canada (and I'm so sorry for what you Americans have to go through), and the video was still entertaining and interesting to watch from beginning to end! :)

Jon Bezy

Just joining Patreon finally for my favorite video creator. Todays video was a masterclass in pacing for editing. You made one of the most boring/frustrating things in the world into a great explainer video.

rionsanura

hhhhhhh i'm back after watching it a couple more times and the bloopers (they're GOOD) and also the video another time and i imagine you're tired of thinking about this video but i'm so jazzed about how intricate and careful it is, and still fun and silly without downplaying the importance of it all, and thinking that even if the view count stopped this very second of now at 200something k, you will already most likely have literally improved and probably saved a significant number of lives just because of the information you've presented, let alone how much less alone and panicked you're able to make people feel about this towering monstrosity of a situation we're in. oops i made a youtube comment on patreon. um good video. good bloopers.

Daniel Lambert

so you DO like watching birds :) really neat to see everything added since the initial cut, and how it all fits together so nicely. Excellent pace.

Danielle Dunne

That squirrel looked like she had melted! Also, as a person who does a lot of recording outside, HARD feels on all of the noise. Hell, even INSIDE if your sound proofing is bad! Thank you for sharing your pain. :D The video was AMAZING BTW! :) Good job!

Emily Shaffer

Brian, I am so thankful you made the health insurance video. As a disabled person, the health insurance market has been a nightmare to navigate, and I finally have a helpful video to send to all the ridiculous people who tell me I'm overreacting when I say that.

Boomer Roberts

Did anybody else's Google respond when Brian said "Hey Google Stop" lol, mine stopped the video as it was playing on my TV

Sen

You look a little like Stanley Tucci sometimes, specifically when you were saying "Hella suspicious"

Todd MacMillan

Please post a final version of the script.
