To answer your question about Sansa potentially inheriting Winterfell: Yes, women can indeed rule in the North. They still aren't seen as equal to men, but they have better chances of ruling than in the south. Maege Mormont (Jeor's sister and Jorah's aunt) rules Bear Island, for example. Ser Meryn Trant is the Kingsguard who killed Arya's "dancing master", Syrio Forel, that's why he's on Arya's death list. He also hit Sansa once. He does everything that Joffrey tells him to and enjoys it. He's basically pure evil. And yes, Davos and Shireen are ADORABLE. I love these two characters so much. It's nice to see some wholesome people once in a while on this show. :-D

This show is great, I'm enjoying watching it with you.

Jaime’s scene in the bath is probably the best acting I’ve seen from Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

I think Lord Bolton is protecting Brienne because she's of noble blood. Nobles are captured, taken prisoner, held hostage - but they're treated well, or they're supposed to be. The guy who cut off Jaime's hand was really out of line.
