So you don't understand anything, yes? Are you maybe ... Lost? Sorry 😂 People went crazy theorizing back then. They had enough time for that because the next episode would only air 5 months later. A long long time. But compared to todays schedules we would have to wait 2-3 years, lol.

Love how much you adopted the mythology of the show! So much so that at the end of the episode, you see an intense snowstorm and rationalize that it’s another part of the island! Great season finale! Can’t wait for your season 3 reactions!

During the scene when the timer runs out and Desmond is on his way down with the key, Michael Giacchino uses a Shepard's Tone in the score to create a seemingly always increasing tone which creates anxiety for the audience. I just watched a Veritasium video talking about this 'sound illusion' and now just noticed it utilized here.

"I think I crashed your plane." So good!! September 22, 2004 - The date of the plane crash...and the date Desmond was late pushing the button...oh, and the date that the the Pilot episode of Lost first aired on ABC.

I actually became a bit giddy with excitement during the scene where Desmond read Penny's note and when you said that Penny was probably not waiting for Desmond anymore...I'm waiting for the end of the episode...and that last shot...

Your reaction to Desond crashing the plane was THE. BEST. Same girl, same

yes, Tom (the guy with the fake beard we've been calling Zeke) is the guy who was talking to Ethan in Claire's flashback!

So basically Boone didn't die for nothing. It was Boone's death that led Locke to bang on the hatch door which prevented Desmond from killing himself. And as we know, if the button is not pushed then the electromagnetism is released and it's indicated to be catastrophic as it can bring down a plane and caused that bright light.

remember Hurley’s imaginary friend was named Dave. Maybe he wasn’t imaginary after all lol

Confused? About this show? How odd. So do you think the Others didn't want Michael to bring Locke because they knew he would fail to press the button? Was that their plan? Or were they just as surprised as everyone else?

Really loved this finale! and trust me your with all us when you feel confused at this point. This show gives and than takes some. There are a lot of relationships on this show but penny and desmond are my favorite and we haven't even really seen much of them.

So about the ending. It’s revealed that Penny is indeed looking for Desmond after all. We still don’t know how she knows about the island and its whereabouts but when they said they think they “found it” they were referring to the island. I love Penny and Desmond and the fact that she is still to this day (in the show) looking for him is such a powerful love story in my opinion🥹

Back when this first aired, when it cut to the snow storm at the very end, I legit thought it was a commercial and that episode was over. I got up to go to the bathroom but then they began speaking in another language so I thought, odd, what's going on here, before realizing that the episode wasn't over!
