So we've basically by now got confirmations that while we won't be getting any more seasons of Arcane in particular there will be spinoff shows in the setting that will potentially pick the stories of some characters back up: I'm quite certain that a Noxus based show will happen because Mel seems to be sailing the fleet back to Noxus and we already have a plot there: the Black Rose Mage with the chains is by now basically guaranteed to be another in-game champion and there is yet another noxian champion that is heavily associated with ravens and could explain the six-eyed raven trying to peck at Jayce's hammer at the end there. Plus, Singed in his later lore actually becomes Noxus' #1 warcrime weapons supplier, so they might just port him over as well. There are still plenty of other locations in the setting that they could explore and while I can't think of any other in-game champions from Piltover/Zaun that both a.) were in the show (we have like ten more champions from there that were never introduced) and b.) have an established connection to other areas I'm sure they could find reasons to place some of them somewhere else...

Thank you for sharing your journey with this amazing show with the rest of us! Don't know if you've seen it yet but there's a bunch of theories that Jinx actually survived and she's on the airship we can see leaving Piltover at the end. We see Caitlyn looking at the vents while holding a part of the bomb Jinx used, most likely they hadn't found Jinx body and she's checking for possible escape routes. During the explosion there's a pink trail leaving the area that looks like Jinx used her enhanced shimmer speed to escape. Either we're all delusional or she's alive. We just have to wait a couple of years to find out.

Two more devastating bits about the show: The song that Vi hums in the last scene there is the same song that Powder sings in the very first scene of the first episode of season 1 The alternative timeline is the only time in the show in which we see Jinx'/Powders hideout in the big fan have a fence around the sides; probably since that's the only version/point in time where she cares enough about potentially falling off to install safety measures

Also, one hopeful note: A lot of people online by now have pointed out that Jinx *might* have survived after all: If you look very closely at the explosion that supposedly kills her, then you'll see a single streak of bright purple, not unlike the one you always see around Jinx when she uses her Shimmer speed power. When Caitlyn at the end looks at the plans for the layout of the hexgates she's looking at ventilation shafts for the gates roughly located around the place where the explosion (and more importantly that purple streak) happened while holding one of Jinx' monkey heads. The very last scene of the entire show is an airship flying off into the distance followed by a "The End" sign that is written in Jinx' style. One of her very first lines in the entire show is also "One day, I'm gonna ride in one of these things" while looking at an airship of the exact same make and model passing over her head. Narratively it would also make a lot of sense for her to just leave since in the last two episodes Jinx on multiple occasions talked about how Vi should move on from trying to save her (and in that last scene Vander) and how she knows that Vi would never do that - so the only way Jinx could make sure that Vi was able to move on is for her sister to think she'd died...

They took away one and a half of my favourite things: Jinx, and one of Caitlyn's eyes.
