Oh, I’ve been waiting for this one! Josh Holloway’s acting in this episode is incredible! His face shows so many emotions while talking/dealing with the situation in the Black Rock! I really look forward to your post-episode thoughts. And I agree with you when it comes to Ben.

You might wanna rethink the whole "no murderers" thing. Remember that the Others tried to take Eko too and he definitely murdered many people pre island

Yes, the next episode is epic, my TOP1 of whole series.

I don't think Sawyer killed Locke's dad because he thought it would make him feel better, I think when he found out it was him it was more of a catharsis thing of making him read the letter he's literally been carrying around most of his life. and then you were kind of right in Locke's dad annoying Sawyer into murdering him because he basically snapped after he started mocking Sawyer's dead parents. even though sawyer's grown so much, as a character with violent impulses, it's not that surprising he ended up killing him after that interaction. Locke can be a little shit and also sometimes helpful but I have to say I really miss the very brief humility he found when he realized he was wrong about the hatch and it was really about to blow up with him Desmond Eko and Charlie inside. maybe the one time he didn't have that cocky little all-knowing smile. and like you said, Jack being appalled that people don't trust him pissed me off so bad. he has such bad judgment and for a "man of science" he certainly is driven by his feelings a lot of the time! whether juliet was lying to him or not, it's completely reasonable for people to be skeptical of him trusting her, no questions asked! also, I loved your reaction to the Mr. Sawyer reveal scene. almost as good as the season 3 opener when it reveals there's a whole mini town on the island

I agree that some of the actions by the others make no sense at this point. But so far we have seen ben is the one being in charge and telling everyone else what to do. How can we exactly trust what he is saying? 95% of the things ben says is a lie or twisted into his favor. So you kinda have to take his words very lightly.

What an episode. Locke's father is Tom Sawyer, Kate goes spilling secrets to Jack and Juliet, and Sawyer finds out Juliet is a mole. Lots of reveals all around. I have to wonder, is Locke letting Sawyer kill his father really better than killing him himself?
