FYI: We (and Jamie) found out last episode that Cersei is pregnant. I don't know why you didn't realize It. Maybe you were distracted by something or you thought of something else during that scene. 😅

Great reaction as always 😊 Just to clarify on Jon being heir, Rhaegar was not the son of the mad king’s brother - he was son of the mad king, i.e. he was Dany’s older brother. So Jon being Rhaegar’s legitimate son means Jon is in line before Dany. Which also means by the way that Jon is Dany’s nephew - her brother’s son - not sure if you thought they were more distantly related than that, cousins or something!

Jon is the heir to the throne Rhaegar is the oldest of the mad king’s children, so was heir after the mad king, any children he had would have been heir after him, Jon is the only surviving child of Rhaegar, thus is the heir over Danaerys (Rhaegar’s sister)

Judson

Rhaegar is the Mad King's oldest son, not his brother. He was the heir to the throne before his father died because both Daenerys and Viserys were younger than him and hence below him in the line of succession.

The moment you realized Sansa played Littlefinger was so good :-D Sansa has been saying since the start that she realized Littlefinger wasn't to be trusted. She kept listening to his advice, making us think that she fell for his ploys, but we should've trusted her.

As for Uncle Benjen: way back when he rescued Bran and Meera, he mentioned that the Walls magic was keeping him from passing through it, since he was essentially an undead himself, so he was basically trapped north of the Wall

So 2 things to clarify/expand on: 1) In 7x5, when Cersei confronts Jaime about secretly meeting with Tyrion, she tells him she's pregnant and he asks her who she will claim is the father, and she says "you". 2) I guess you forgot that Dany had 2 older brothers: Viserys, who we met in season 1 (Dany let Drogo kill him with melted gold), and Rhaegar who was the eldest son of the Mad King, and so he was the heir to the Iron Throne when Robert's Rebellion started. And Rhaegar already had heirs of his own at the time, because he has a young daughter and baby son with his wife Elia Martell (Oberyn's sister). Which is why Oberyn arrived in KL in season 4 ready to seek vengeance for the murders of his sister and his niece/nephew, who would've become king after Rhaegar's death. But as we know Tywin had them all killed so that Robert would be able to claim the throne uncontested (and also because Tywin was insulted that the Mad King arranged his son Rhaegar to marry a Martell instead of Cersei). So then, the only heir left it would seem is now Dany, but we know that Jon is the last remaining heir of Rhaegar, and because they confirm in this episode that Rhaegar and Lyanna married before Jon was born, that makes him a legitimate son, not a bastard. So he is technically the true heir.

Also, wanted to mention (in case it wasn't clear) the location where they held this big meeting in Kings Landing is the ruins of what used to be the Dragon Pit. As Dany was saying, thats where her ancestors, while reigning over Westeros, would house their dragons so as not to roam free around the land all willy-nilly. But, as Tyrion has said, dragons do not do well in captivity, which is also what Dany was saying about how they eventually had smaller dragons and weaker, until they died out. But there's more to that story, about how the Dragon Pit got ruined and became like that, and relating to what Dany said about how this place was the beginning of the end for her family's dynasty. Which leads me to ask: Are you planning to watch House of the Dragon after you finish GoT??
