The real tragedy here is Dale never getting to know that Shane barely outlived him. All Shane's talk about honorable people like Dale not being able to cut it in the post-apocalypse world meant nothing. Like Rick said, Shane did this to himself. Super excited for the finale!

Shane's story is definitely a tragic one, he made all the wrong moves over and over again. I feel bad for everyone involved, Shane thought he lost his best friend and had to take care of Rick's family only to have it all ripped away when Rick came back, Lori having her husband been mortally wounded and the world ending to find peace and stability with Shane only for him to turn into an obsessed psycho, Carl losing his dad then coming back only to put a bullet in his new found father figures head as a walker, and Rick ... oh man Rick i feel for the most. Wife impregnated, child shot, best friend plotting his demise so he could steal everything Rick has and how it all ends? With Rick having to murder his lifelong best friend. This show is wild!

I feel like they kind of brushed over shanes attempted rape of lori because why did the writers have her apologize so much in that scene. I dont even remember if he ever apologized for that??
