Hey guys so in this video I'm reacting to the dvd extras for season 1 of Lost. That includes deleted scenes, bloopers and behind the scenes stuff. Hope you'll enjoy it. If not please let me know coz then i won't be doing this for the other seasons.

Also my editing software crashed during exporting, but luckily the part it already exported was saved and since it already was exporting for almost an hour I decided to not re-export the beginning of it so the reaction is in two separate files. Sorry for the inconvenience!

"Lost" is still from an era when TV shows barely had any well-known actors, so back then it felt strange to me to see a new TV show with so many experienced actors. I already knew Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) from The Lord of the Rings, Harold Perrineau (Michael) from the Matrix sequels, Daniel Dae Kim (Jin) from Angel and 24, and Terry O'Quinn (Locke) from Alias. It's also still the best TV show cast I've ever seen, in my opinion. And yes, you're right, Evangeline Lilly was unknown before Lost, she was probably the least-known actress of the entire cast, and now she's the most famous one. This was her breakthrough role. :-)

It's crazy watching the audition tapes and seeing actors reading different characters than they eventually became. Like some weird alternate reality...And seeing Hurley's character described as "Arrogant and opinionated Red Shirt". We're all happy they didn't go the "Red Shirt" direction (if you didn't know, "Red Shirt" is a common term used to describe minor characters in shows that get killed off early on. The phrase is a reference to the original Star Trek TV series, where the landing party would have a few main characters and one or two random crew guys wearing red shirts that everyone knew would get killed off.)

This was very fun! Hope you'll repeat for the next seasons as well

Haha - you're reaction hearing Naveen Andrews' British accent for the first time was hilarious. (Honestly, it sounds like he could have been one of the guys in Spinal Tap. LOL )

Alias, which so many of the cast and crew were from and talked about in the extras, was SUCH a good show! Since you mentioned a curiosity to check it out, perhaps you could check out the pilot (another very ambitious, movie quality pilot) one week and decide if it is a series you'd be into.

I’m Glad they didn’t go the kill Michael Keaton/Jack route. I mean Most people would not have expected Michael Keaton to be on the show very long so they would not have been surprised at all when he died in the pilot. It really would not have been that shocking once you saw the actor that was playing him

Dominic Monaghan (Charlie's actor) was a hobbit in Lord of the Rings, which is why he got typecasted and was in New Zealand before this for his surfing. He is British, but this was his 2nd big role after the LotR trilogy.

I LOVED these! Please continue to do them for all the seasons. LOST is such a special show and getting to see the passion of the people behind it and the love these actors have for their characters is one of the best parts of becoming a fan. The extras grew my heart for the cast tenfold. <3
