Hi friends,

After one of our biggest updates yet (0.8.4), this one might feel smaller, but there's a lot happening under the hood that might not be immediately obvious.

First, we've implemented the "Follow Me" mode, recently introduced in the PC version. Just open the Interaction Menu, go to "Walk > Follow," and your Hottie will stay right on your tail.

The AI also received an important improvement. We’ve upgraded some of the most important parts of our AI: the LLM (language model) and the TTS (text to speech) module. What does this mean? Better conversations, more realistic voices, and more nuanced personalities.While it may take a little time to get used to, these changes have significantly impacted the voices. We still believe it’s a big step forward—otherwise, we wouldn’t have released it! 😉

The editor now reached slider parity with our PC version. Apart from a few highly demanding features like certain hairstyles and clothes, the Quest version is now just as powerful as its PC counterpart.

Male Hotties also got some love! We've added more hairstyles, body hair options, and the ability to rotate the Hottie during positioning.

"Follow Me" Mode

Three new skins (Norah, Ginny, and Saffire)

Five new short hairstyles (4 male, 1 female)

Body hair for male Hotties

Some sliders allowing negative values (finger, arms, legs, torso, neck length)

Thigh and glute wiggle physics

Enhanced rendering (eyes, teeth, and skin)

Rotation now available for male Hotties

Improved slider management (marking changed sliders, remembering last slider tab)

Better hair shading

Improved breast jiggle physics

More accurate light calculation on Hottie skin

Upgraded AI (new LLM and TTS)

New animation system

Faster loading times

Fix:

Fixed issues with loading some HottieCards from the PC version

Hair was unintentionally grabbable

Improved button precision in the Interaction sub-menu

Fixed crashes when changing male Hotties’ hairstyles

Known Issue: 

Hottie getting stuck in small gaps between walls/furniture

little green Ball from Interaction Menu not vanishing after switching from Handtracking to Controllers

Patience is a virtue ;) As we're not working on both versions simultaneously, we can't update them at the same time...

Im still having a problems with the hottie going though walls and sitting and laying on invisible furniture. Will that be repaired at some point? If so it would make the experience so much better.

Is there an option to "age" the skin, I can't seem to find it. It is mentioned in the steam version but I can't find it on the quest version.

This may happen when you take off the headset during a session or due to collisions with invisible furniture (faulty Meta room setup).

This is due to errors of Metas Room Setup, unfortunately we rely on their data and can't do anything about it. In short: Meta has to fix this.

When I start the game it just give me a black screen than it goes back to Oculus main menù, when I touch the clothes of the hottie, they melt, do I have any setting wrong maybe?

This is fantastic! I’ve been a VR HOT user (PC version) since last Thanksgiving and have been enjoying the updates. I tried the previous version on a Quest 2 and it was unusable. I recently tried this version on a Quest 3 and it’s a pretty amazing experience. The AR experience feels more natural than the PC version. One small nit: the images tiles from the imported hottie cards should be cached in the main screen. Every time I visit the Hottie Cards menu, they have to load and it seems to use a lot of compute to do this. Keep up the great work!

The verbose and responsive AI make her chatter away. It's fun, it felt like a sci-fi movie where an android looks up things for you. It works smooth too, and the occlusion seems more realistic. Great update.

Updated and everything was working fine. Tried to use for the 2nd time after updating and now the AI voice audio doesn't work at all, can't hear it. The "normal" voice still works, but not the AI. Any ideas on how to fix it? I already tried uninstalling and re-installing.

As already mentioned in the tier description and on our About page, VR HOT for Quest is MR-only (passthrough). In order to create good looking Hotties we had to get rid of environments and the Player Body. The Quest is not powerful enough to run everything in a decent quality.

Unfortunately not. VR HOT for Quest is for Quest 2 (not recommended), 3, 3s and Pro. You can use the Pico to play the PCVR version (available on Steam) though.

Trying to load the game using SideQuest, but when I go to "developer.oculus.com/sign-up/" it changes to "developers.meta.com/horizon/" and I can't find the possibility to Create new organization. So my SideQuest tells me "Unauthorized"

I got it to work, somehow. I am glad I was so patient, I am quite impressed. This is what I always wanted from VR. I am still waiting to be accepted on Discord. I use a different email address for my discord perhaps that is why. My Discord account email begins with Karlder........

You can start with a male Hottie and then use the slider in the Main Menu > Hottie > Shape > Body > Female Shape

then, is it possible to allow for female heads in the editing stage? i spent liek 2 hours trying to make a dude fem and it just didnt work out. and for the folks who like trans men, the ability to add a male head to a female body. aka : all heads should be available on all bodys.
