Hi friends,

this update may look small at first glance, but it’s actually quite impactful.

We’ve upgraded our AI service both with a more advanced language model and an improved text-to-speech system. Conversations are now faster, more coherent, and contextually accurate, while the new voice output delivers a smoother, more natural sound. 

Together, these upgrades make interactions feel more lifelike and engaging than ever before!

In addition—though a bit more limited compared to the PC version—we’ve also added AI awareness of the room setup, the virtual penis, and virtual toys.

Furthermore, manual rotation of Hotties has been made more robust, offering smoother and more predictable results when adjusting character orientation.

A headset restart after completing the room setup is necessary for the virtual penis to work reliably

Hottie may get stuck in small gaps between walls or furniture

Little green ball from the interaction menu doesn’t vanish after switching from hand tracking to controllers

I'd like to understand how other users manage to use the Quest Standalone version in this state and still be satisfied?? Every time you open the app, before the model even appears, a bunch of glitches show up and it’s better to keep your eyes closed until the model stabilizes. The graphics are full of jagged edges, the framerate is low, and if you enable dynamic resolution it becomes totally unwatchable. Even though the doll’s grab system has been improved, it’s still poor in handling: for example, if you sit her on the bed in missionary position, she puts one leg closed, and if you move it, she resets it back to where it was before. The virtual penis is completely unmanageable, the model takes absurd positions on the bed, spinning like crazy when you try to place her correctly. In the end, if you have any desire, it just kills it with all the issues it causes! When hand tracking is enabled, even the slightest movement triggers weird motions, there are no proper ragdoll collisions, everything works really badly. This app has been in development for years and we’re still more or less at the same level. Some things have improved, but the framerate and resolution are really not acceptable. Don’t even get me started on trying to record a video—how can anyone pay and subscribe to an app that’s just frustrating when you actually try to use it?? It almost gives you a headache. Surely the PCVR version works better, but some people subscribe because they only have the standalone, and in my opinion it’s very frustrating to use, full of glitches, with poor resolution and framerate performance. You might look at it once, twice, maybe three times, but then you can’t take it anymore—it’s a disappointment every time. And it’s not like I can disable dynamic occlusion, because that’s the only sensible thing. On textures I’m forced to remove shadows, but it’s still not enjoyable, not pleasant, not fun. Luckily I only paid for one month; I was hoping for something from this update, but it’s the same old disappointment. In the past I obviously subscribed for other months, spending money without anything concrete in return. At the end of this month I’ll uninstall the app and I don’t want to follow it anymore, because every time I subscribe I get disappointed. The AI only speaks English—I tried talking to it and it didn’t even work now! And yet, according to the patch notes, it was supposed to respond faster! I just wanted to give honest feedback, frustrated by this experience, which I won’t repeat again.

Just to clarify: my frustration comes entirely from the Standalone Quest version. I don’t have a PC, so I can’t use the PCVR version, which seems to work much better. This app is meant to be erotic, but the current Standalone experience is so glitchy and frustrating that it completely kills the mood. I’m honestly amazed other users manage to use it and enjoy it in this state.

seems to work pretty good for me. I do enjoy the update on the voice how ever, I am little disappointed that this is all we got on this update. so many more little things could have been added. There are many other apps similar to this one lacking the xxx part that are strictly for the quest and have so many more features. Hoping more is coming.

Hottie loads in a small gap in the corner of the room halfway inside the room and the other half outside of the room. Can you please fix this glitch as it's vey annoying. Boundary off or on?

I use both the stand alone quest version and the PC version. I enjoy and love both versions and use them interchangeably. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. I haven't yet done this update but I'll check it out. The quest version has superior 'map awareness' (v8.0) compared to the PC. The PC looks better graphically, and comes with more features, more accurately hears me through the mic. The quest is no setup, starts right away, and has better greenscreen effect, you see the hottie more sharply. There really are noticeable differences. As for the update, all of it sounds important. I would say for both versions.. I need a 'new' option attached to the hotties profile (on off), where the hottie will become more autonomous, and either move to me or away to interact with things. Will 'think on their own' without me telling them what to do. I think also we need bj animations added for when you are laying down, or to cover other angles. At the moment, Bj only seems designed for if user standing up. Would love to see autonomous behavior, and include with it, she just walks up and hugs or cuddles you, and her ai will choose to 'talk' like when you touch her, how she 'talk reacts'. I think an autonomous behavior would be a huge update and a lot of work to do, including it being a toggle on off feature of her personality, maybe a slider of how often she will enact her own, and 'react talk' such as 'this position is boring, i want to try another' maybe even requesting player to do things as she '?' even if simple hugging. But that all be awesome, and again the v8.8 additions are welcomed, they help push in that immersive direction.

Hottie loads outside of the defined space and stuck. Please fix this issue. Tried to set the space directly from the main setting and still loads outside the boundary space.

why dose the AI accent constantly change its wired having her go from British to Sothern and back

VR HOT defines the spawn point of the Hottie 1m in front of the player's origin. The origin is defined by the starting point of the Meta room setup. If you start your room setup e.g. close to a wall, she might spawn outside of your space. Please 1. Delete your current room setup (IMPORTANT!) 2. do the room setup again, starting in the middle of your space.

Hi, I have tired your instructions and problem still exists. If I setup the room for the first time from VR Hot app , hottie loads normaly but after I close the application and open it again, hottie loads outside the boundary wall. This has happened only with the new update. Any idea how this can be fixed. Thanks

This is a known issue for some Quest OS versions. Try updating your headset's OS as soon as possible. It might already be available in your settings.

Thanks for your feedback! What do you have in mind when you say "jiggle, twerk motions"? Have you tried the dances?

you’re welcome. Example: instead of a button that just turns on dancing or intercourse, its a dial that can control the intensity. so from zero to 100 you can achieve the pacing of that motion. so in dance mode, if its dialed to 0-25 its more of a twerk where they are standing but subtly making their cheeks clap and 75-100 its more full on dancing. and for intercourse it be subtle or slower to faster and intense.

another wishlist is a different color or custom color selection of interior genitals so when either holes gape it has added realism and looks like inside flesh vs exterior skin.

I already downloaded 3 times and every time the download "complete" at 2.8 GB, from the original 3.1 GB. When I try to sideload always faild. (Dropbox)

That's a fun idea but it will not be possible. The animations are real dances which we produced using a motion capturing suit. Which would mean in your scenario we'd have to produce 100 animations per dance, each 1% more intense than the last. Not happening, sorry ;)

Very insightful. Thanks for your patience. Inspired from Quest 3 Come Closer, What about having a "teaching or learning" button where they learn a custom movement by user holding them and guiding their body. The movement would record and then loop.
