Hi friends,

two days ago we finally found Meta's update (v55) in the beta channel and tried implementing the new features into VR HOT for Quest. So far it's a complete disaster. v55 is buggy as f**k. Even if we get VR HOT up and running, it crashes with the use of the new features (e.g. dynamic resolution). Also old bugs (flickering with Application SpaceWarp) are still there.It might not be the final version yet, hence why we found it in the beta channel only. We are constantly checking for another version. Another possibility might be that we'll need the coming Unity update which we expect any day now.So sorry we don't have better news :/ We understand this is extremely frustrating. Bummer. has to be frustrating. i've noticed the flickering sometimes on v55 beta with current version of VRhot. not all the time though. had to reboot the headset a few times when it happens to get it to disappear. no biggie for me. rather have something stable than frustrating.

Dang, I just subbed too and notice the flickering with my right lenses. After meta released the recent update, I felt that my natural tracking without apps has been buggy as well.

The flickering is intermittent for me too but goes away if I turn off spacewarp. Yes it's a performance hit, but better than not, and not such a huge difference post-update. I'm sure they're working hard on the next release!

Yes, the flickering seems to be a Meta bug. So far we haven't seen any fixes yet. We are experiencing the same problems. A restart of the headset should fix it temporarily, you don't have to turn off spacewarp!

You can play 0.5.2 no problem, this just delayed the coming update.

There is only a beta for v56.

We don't have a Vive Pro for testing, sorry. On most controllers you have to press the right stick and the right grab/grasp/grip button simultaneously.
