VR HOT for Quest 0.6.0 (Patreon)

first of all, thank you for your amazing and continuous support, feedback, and patience. We truly appreciate it!

We'd also like to extend a warm welcome to all new Quest 3 users who joined us over the last couple of weeks. It's an excellent headset, and we believe that VR HOT looks and feels better than ever on it. Since the release, we've been exploring the new possibilities that the Quest 3 offers to enhance VR HOT.

The good news: It looks and performs better right out of the box!

The not-so-good news: It’s still not powerful enough to make a PC-like Hair Simulation feasible. We are still experimenting with simulated clothes, but we can’t promise yet if this will work out at the end.

We also made a major Unity update under the hood. This is in preparation for possible future feature updates from Meta. We would love to implement Dynamic Occlusion, Room Mesh and other technologies as soon as Meta provides us with the opportunity.

But now for the new features:

Hottie height works very differently from the PC version, which is why we had to figure out a different approach. But now it's here, and it works in-game! (Open the Main Menu and go to Hottie > Settings)

You can also finally create HottieCards in the Quest version. Just click the right Thumb Stick together with the Grip Button. The Passthrough image (your room) will not be shown on the HottieCard; the background will be black.

Make sure to join our Discord for PC to share your HottieCards with other users!

Another great user idea we implemented: You can now fix/relax the in-game Dildo. Let us know how you use it!

For certain interactions you will now see a warning if your Room Setup is not adequate. This should save a lot of confusion..

Furthermore we made a couple of smaller improvements and bug fixes, please check out the full list at the end of this post.

I cant get this version to open properly on my Q2. When I open it the VR HOT logo shows up then the 3-4 loading bubbles but it never advances beyond that point :(

That's odd. Three/four questions: 1) Do you have anything else running in the background? 2) Maybe your headset is running out of "disc" space? 3) Did the last version run on your headset? 4) If it worked previously, which Quality Level did you use?

1) No I tried restarting the headset as well so there wouldnt be anything interferring 2) Plenty of space:) 3) Yes without any issues 4) I was using the highest level Thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated :) I will keep trying, and maybe reinstall ?

There was a big wow effect when I pressed sit, and she hopped up and sat on my desk, one boob pressed against the computer box. Very life -like, big step since I last downloaded a couple versions ago.

How did you end up fixing it? I am having the exact same problem. I am reinstalling the old version again to see if it works. Also dev I ran through all your suggestions earlier and nothing worked.

I had huge problems with sidequest loading in through cable so I ended up using Wifi to transfer it which solved that headache. I ended up just uninstalling then reinstalling a few times... restarted it and eventually it worked. I did have two profiles on the Quest 2 as well which seemed to make it even worse to get working.

Issue with furniture, set up bed and chair, bed is a bit high, no provision for interaction with reduced hight leads to no furniture setup message when requesting interactions on bed. Chair seems to be ignored. Workaround using the masterbation options, intercourse options give the error.

Im having trouble installing the game into my vr quest. Every time I download the game it doesn’t pop up on my unknown sources. I tried downloading it again and even restarting my vr and it still doesn’t show up on my vr. Is there any that had that issue and can help me?

Hi Marco, you are playing with your real body. In order to create good looking Hotties we had to get rid of environments and the Player Body. I uploaded vr-hot to my Meta Quest2, but instead of a virtual room, I see the surrounding space through an end-to-end camera, is this how it should be?

In Version 0.5 there were nice long eye lines which disappeared in 0.6, could you give them back?

Unfortunately the "nice long eye lines" were a bug which we had to fix, sorry! :(

Really great job on VR Hot standalone! - I especially like the eyes and how you did the body physics. A lot to be desired though, but that's never ending in software development. Anyway with the current product I think you're on the track to something really great. One question: Is there a dedicated channel for VR _standalone_ on Discord?

Hi Flexnez, thanks for your feedback! Yes, there is a designated Discord for the Quest version. You have to connect Discord to your Patreon account. The Bot will add you then automatically.

Any eta on an update for this game? Really liked it a lot on my quest2 but no so much on the quest 3. I like the fact that I now have color pass through, but the glitching is too frequent game play runs smooth for a few seconds then glitch. And repeats that over and over. Can also only spend a short length of time customizing models in game if you spend too much time there, headset would lock up. I have none of these issues with meta2. As much as I feel the game is one of the best out there, I can’t stay on it long enough to use it.

Hi, I'm new to VR Hot. I used Virt-A-Mate for a while, but the advent of VR Hot for Quest won me over. MR mode is what you need for games like this! That's why I'm here. And lately only here! Thank you for being able to create an interesting thing for Quest 3! I would like to share my observations and ideas. I'm sure many of my proposals are already in process, but still. 1) LIGHTING. 1.1) - Add more brightness to the flashlight. I place it near the light source in my actual room and more often than not it just doesn't reach the hottie. 1.2) - And it would be nice if the hottie cast the most primitive shadow from a flashlight. Like the one under your feet. 2) INTERACTION MENU 2.1) - If there is an "Undress" button, then there should be a "dress" button. To get all her clothes back. 3) INTERACTION. 3.1) - When you touch the character, she begins to float like a balloon. Add a little resistance to your hands when touching, feeling the weight of the hottie. 3.2) - The flexibility of the body is not natural. It breaks immersion. The joints of the bones should not bend more than in a real person. 3.3) - In addition to voice commands, I would like to control the doll with my hands. For example, “Turn to me” by pulling her shoulder or arm in the direction of the turn. “Walk here”, “Walk there” - take her hand and lead you to the right place. If you push her, she will take a step for balance. Because you have to carry the hottie, like a floor lamp, from place to place. It would be good to use your hands to put her on a chair or lay her down on a bed. Etc. 3.4) - Add a tickle plugin. Sometimes when you caress a girl, she becomes ticklish. This could be the neck, chest, feet. Sometimes it can be unobtrusive. Laughter turns you on. 3.5) - The command “Lay down” on the bed is executed well, but not correctly. Hottie's legs are hanging in the air. When trying to turn the doll properly, it twists into three knots. The bed is usually rectangular, can a hottie be trained to lie lengthwise instead of across? 3.6) - I would like to have an “obedient girl” mode in which you can adjust your body position or pose. As I understand it, something similar was planned in the “Fix” mode, but it doesn’t work yet. 3.7) - The "grab mode" for the hands needs some improvement. This mode rigidly binds the object to the position of the hand. It is very difficult to give the hottie the right direction and even a slight movement of the hand causes the hottie to tremble and squirm unnaturally. Maybe make the “dead zone” bigger so that she doesn’t shake so much, and make the girl’s movements natural, rather than just following the hand? 4) HOTTIE MOTION PLUGINS. 4.1) - Please fix it when a girl’s mouth is wide open and at that moment she begins to speak. These two plugins should not be run at the same time. 4.2) - Straighten her gait a little, she's leaning backwards. 4.3) - When a walking hottie's path encounters low obstacles (a bed, for example), she could crawl over it, step over it, go around it, or do something else. 4.4) - Hottie's dancing is divine!!! More dancing! It would be cool to see dancing on the bed. 5) TOY. 5.1) - Why only blue? Add the ability to change color! A dildo shape would be nice. We need options! 5.2) - As an option, you can make the toy invisible (in the “fix” toy mode) so that the entrance to the vagina is open and the hottie’s perineum does not cover the penis. This way you can achieve the effect of visual penetration. The game is great! I like it! I wish you inspiration and the opportunity to create!
