Protein Shake - Project Update 02 (Patreon)

Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well~🧡

I've been working and rendering a LOT on the condom inflation project. Sadly, I managed to render nearly 800 frames before I realized that I had made a big mistake with the fur. You might notice in the previous update, that the fur was oddly shiny. Well... I didn't really notice that >.> Not until the camera moved to a specific angle compared to the lights, and the entire fur coat suddenly lit up.

I realized that, in my attempt to render the fur faster, I had tried to optimize each strand into a flat plane that would angle itself towards the camera. That sounded faster to me than a three-dimensional cylinder for each fur strand. The problem with that is the fur always renders the lighting at an odd angle, giving noisy and overly specular results.

Anyway, long story short, I had to rerender everything again😅

Now, a little over a week of working through the day and rendering through the night, I'm finally done rendering the scenes you've already seen a preview of! I hope you agree with me that the fur looks better than before. And if not, I'm all ears maybe there's something I can do going forward :3

The only problem with the fur like this is that it takes between 10 and 15 minutes per frame to render xD

Let me know what you think of the last shot! Jay is thrusting down Chance's throat and Chance involuntarily swallows around the huge shaft~ I hope it reads okay! ^^
