H-Bomb 24

Actually Kenny, that's NOT Jiro and Mikasa's voice actor singing in this episode. I forget what her name is, but I know she also sang in the Japanese subbed version.

H-Bomb 24

Eri's red dress is actually made from the cape Mirio put around her back during the Yakuza raid. 🥰🥰

Maks Lesniewski

Bakugo has always been intelligent, emotionally and otherwise. It's just that because of his attitude, people assume that he's just a stupid, brutish jerk, without paying attention to all of the depth he really hides.

MossyCastle

PLEASE CUT OUT MINETA'S COMMENT NEXT EPISODE I HATE IT SO MUCH

It's not as bad in dub, thank goodness, but they might. They cut out Tengen spanking Aoi in Demon Slayer, after all.

Rick

As far as the other classes being mad at 1A, id say they have no right. You go to a hero school, if you don't wanna put up with villain/hero dynamic go to a normal person school.

you realize UA isn't really just a hero school right? It's more so a quirk centric school. There's less hero course students there than other types.

Indifferent Denji

wait so the last time we saw gentle he and la brava were on that roof and it was day time but the next time we see him its night. Did bro just stand there posing all day or does he and la brava go all the way to that specific roof just to film? either option seems in line with his personality

It was cute until I remembered that the cape was made from Mirio's own body/cells

Revin MacGrath

I always get nervous when reactors get to Gentle and La Brava because sometimes they hmm have certain reactions. But Montana has always been sharp and spot on so I'm looking forward to it!

Shynerdycactus

Soooo happy you like the concept of this arc. There’s an attitude with shounen sometimes that every arc and villain should be higher stakes than the last, and I think MHA really excels this arc by taking a step back after Overhaul and making time for character growth and emotional complexity. It’s really unfortunate to see people reach this arc and dismiss it as filler because the kids aren’t in, like, mortal peril for once and are actually participating in the school they’re enrolled in

Pugz

Mineta is about to get a whole lot worse before he gets better 😭 at least with one comment next episode.

Scar

One of Mineta’s worst moments is next episode actually…wouldn’t say his turning point is anytime soon, maybe later season 5

Scar

General intelligence sure but emotionally? He’s as far from emotionally intelligent as any person can get lmao

Justin

When are you planning on watching the 2nd movie?

Bryan

I never realized they mentioned destro and Mr compress ancestor

Bryan

Wait I don’t remember mineta getting any better 😭

Jinchuriki87

The aspect of seeing regular day to day life of the students is honestly one of the reasons I love this show so much. Feels like it really adds to the characters by giving you more opportunities to understand their motivations and possibly connect with them! (Also, if y'all haven't already watched the concert...I once again recommend actually listening to the song and including the lyrics! It's a great song in general AND in regards to this arc for jiro!)

Mineta's turning point is definitely in Season 5, after Mina pulls A Clockwork Orange on him. Basically after that he doesn't do anything questionable again IIRC

Maks Lesniewski

There's also Shiketsu, which despite being just as prestigious of a hero school, has considerably less direct encounters with villains.

Maks Lesniewski
>>134450884

Why? Because he yells? Because he's an arrogant jerk? You can be emotionally intelligent, but abrasive and rude, those things aren't mutually exclusive.

CommonClowney

Mineta gets a heap lot worse this season 😭😭his moment youre thinking of is in season 5

Ferret

Fun fact, while Jiro is voiced by the same VA as Misaka normally, her singing voice is done by Crissy Costanza, lead singer of (my favorite band) Against the Current.

Mekar

The English singing was much more surprising in the Japanese dub but I like that they used Crissy's audio for both.

I have always wondered what the hell Harima had to steal to end up on a list alongside Destro and All For One. All For One basically stole a country.

PanjaMysy

I felt like this arc was so out of place and a sharp change at first...but then once the concert happened, I realized how much my heart NEEDED it after the heaviness of the previous arc. It was refreshing and fun and it gave us an insight to Jiro and expanded on her character, which was much needed.

Amon S.

WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL DID YOU GO TO, KENNY???

Amon S.

“This arc is the turning point for Mineta” Kenny clearly forgot about the scene where Mineta meets Eri
