Griffin Kelly

DOUBLE DROP LETS GOOOOOOOO

Izrail Gevorgyan

Y’all like wrestling? That’s awesome haha! You could react to some wrestling maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Katsuki BakuGOAT

I know that this is endeavors episode and I love thatbut can we please acknowledge along with Kenny how sick Hawks is💥 This man jumped off of a falling building, basically threw his parachute to ppl, saved everyone, and brought his parachute back to him before he reached half of the building's height. the skill and confidence on this man. I'm surprised Montana was able to see all his feather-skills cause his resolve and his balls just constantly cover the screen

Griffin Kelly

Also giga shoutout to Patrick Seitz, Endeavor’s VA. He also voices Jiren in the English dub of Dragon Ball Super, where he’s also excellent

defnotdai

Hell yeah, I think season 5 might be my fav

Marcus Williams

Was not expecting this episode today now I got 2 to watch when I get off

Joel Gilmore

the undertaker sound when you suggested skipping the intro had me rolling

Ksweets

I already could tell the next episode was coming out when the outro for the first video was so short xD

Juan

That’s a Natsu Reference not itadori 😂😭

mal

YESS LETS GOOOOOO

Digital Alikin

To this day this is still my favorite episode. Great character growth, great animation

Kanta

Y'ALL THE GOATS FOR NOT MAKING US WAIT

[]Ace[]

Hell yeah! Excited to see your reactions to Season 5, especially the latter half!

Jinchuriki87

Like endeavor in this episode, Kenny also went plus ultra giving us the double drop! Much appreciated!!!!! That said...I can NEVER get tired of watching this episode, and the sub VA also does great, so either version I get chills watching every...time!!! (Which I see you can understand, Kenny!) So...damn...good! Super excited to see y'all go into s5 though..it definitely pops off!!!

chris blosser

honestly, Kenny the real MVP for not making us wait with these cliff hangers into the really good episodes

H-Bomb 24

This is probably the greatest season finale in this series thus far.

H-Bomb 24

You're ruggt, but they haven't watched Fairy Tail. They'd know him as Ling from FMAB.

Jinchuriki87
>>136207564

Hey...that all might you did from season 1 was pretty good! I'm sure myself, and many here, would love to hear your contribution to this scene! Patreon exclusive perhaps?

the raven

I can't wait to see the reaction for what is to come with Deku.

Deiondre0

I’LL GO PLUS ULTRA!! DOUBLE!! UPLOAD!!!

arlo

Yay! Thank you lots!

Kyouma

YESSSS!!!! Thank you guys so much for the double upload!! :D

BLUEMONKEY18

I’ve seen it said elsewhere that while All Might is the Symbol of Peace, here Endeavor becomes a Symbol of Power/Victory that refuses to yield

Random Guy

Fun fact the pink haired kid in the yellow scarf's design is based on a popular Shonen Protag named Naatsu from Fairy Tail who also has fire abilities. What makes the reference even better is that they got his english VA Todd Haberkorn to voice him to tie the reference in.

Skyxt

The phoenix symbolism in this episode is insane because the whole episode is about Endeavour’s ‘Rebirth.’ This episode is amazing.

>>136207564

See Kenny the problem with being a good voice actor means you got to post it where is it come on 😆 it's past my birthday but I don't mind late gifts 🤣

mal

PEAKKKK

mal

i can’t wait to see their reaction to the My V****** Academia arc

Luis Guerrero

I don't think anyone else has mentioned it but the pose that Endeavor takes with his fist in the air is in direct reference to the same pose All Might does at the end of the AFO fight.

Doge Creations

"sleeps like you" caught me so off gaurd 😭😭 the POSE Dekus sleeping in as well AHAFGVDHSJ

Doge Creations

also i just looked it up cause the way Endeavour yells in this episode really stood out to me, but apparently the english VA for Endeavour is the same one for Commandant Shadis from AOT! i thought that was quite neat :)

dannydarko27

This episode makes me weep #daddyissues

MegumiMary

when showing this anime to people for the first time I like to say "this is why I insist Endevor was a cool character" just to make them think he dies in this episode 3:)

Jake Clerico

This is one of my favorite episodes and moments. I go back and watch the Prominence Burn scene on a regular basis. It's just incredible.

chris

His made alot of mistakes in his past but what matters now is what he does going forwards.. Forgiveness is up to his family and the people his effected.. A bad person can still do good

homicidalkoala

The last time i saw this episode, i was caught up. Life happened and i never saw anything that came out afterwards. Im excited to watch what comes next.

Thiivi

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure part of the reason Endeavor sliced up the building was so Hawks could limit the damage that would have been caused by the top portion falling to the ground.

Thiivi

That Itadori looking character is actually a direct reference to Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail, who is also a fire user! They even got the same English VA to do his voice!

Keyblade

I read a comment yesterday, that I kinda liked. Endeavour might not be a symbol of peace, but a beacon of hope. Also, the music is crazy good.

Æther Paradox

Yall should watch fairy tail after MHA. It hits a lot of the same feels and has very little filler compared to the other long form anime.

Mekar

The pink-haired kid looks a lot like Natsu Dragneel, one of the main characters from Fairy Tail. Todd Haberkorn, who voices Natsu, also voiced this pink-haired kid in MHA as a cameo.

Æther Paradox
>>136401201

I don't remember much filler, but it's been a while. I felt like the non-lore/plot heavy episodes did a lot to give us background on characters like Levi, Gajeel, Wendy, Jalaal, etc. I just know Fairy Tail makes me cry.

SilverAtlas

And thus, season 4 ended. What a ride indeed. If season 6 wasn't so good I have no doubts that season 4 would be my favorite. From start to finish every episode is great and every aspect of the show gets to shine. I love it so much!

Gestrid
>>136288199

Some of the best episodes of the series are coming up. Not soon, but they are. :)

(still haven't decided on a name) Day

Oh wow I didn't even realize the bit Kenny said about Endeavor about the fight. I've probably rewatched this show at least like 3 times and never caught the part about how /that/ part "villain, you are me..." he was seeing himself etc (I was probably blinded by my deep Endeavor hate 😂)

Lars

Just a heads up, this one didn’t get tagged for MHA on Patreon so it isn’t on the list and you can’t filter for it

Noboi

While I wish the writing was a bit better, I LOVE the voice acting and animation in this episode ngl

Noboi
>>136902352

Tbf, it's not a very good parallel in the context of the episode. It reminds me of the "this chocolate fish is me" thing from season 2 which was played for laughs lol

Noboi
>>136271052

Tbf I wouldn't call those "mistakes." But yeh, a bad person can still do good!

Amon S.

Just wanna say that Endeavor’s arc is less about redemption and more about atonement. The difference isn’t huge, but I think it’s important to distinguish. Nothing that he’s doing is redeeming his past actions, but he’s taking steps to atone for the horrible things he’s done.

Saiyasha

I always feel so friggin bad for shoto. What must it feel like to watch this? On the one hand, I am _sure_ there is a part of himself that is like "Good, he deserves this!" But on the other hand, he _is_ his father and on top of that, they had just taken the first, miniscule steps toward a possible reconcilliation or at least a bit of a closer bond. Should he feel sad? Glad? Angry? All of it at once? How does he feel when Endevour wins? Does he feel relief or anger because he wants to see his father punished? My guess is that he actually _does_ feel a mix of all of that which must be just tearing him apart inside
