THE BET LINE IN THIS SHOW IS THAT GOSH DARN "Yes" - 10.08

VVenture

The animation on Himeno when she takes off her jacket in the bathroom is incredible. They animated her doing it while rotating slowly in a 360.

Hey Kenny, the intro for the episode is for episode 1 "dog and chainsaw" not for this episode. Just letting you know!

BLUEMONKEY18

lol we love your takes too Kenny. You both dig into characters and concepts in ways that are interesting and fun to discuss. You (Kenny) tend to get into more of the technical and story elements while Montana tends to gets more into the deeper character elements and concepts, I guess? I think that speaks to your backgrounds but you both do both and the reactions would be lacking without either of you!

Just a heads up, please be open minded on what's coming next. Don't take subtle scenes without meaning and dialogue at face value! Don't stop watching this show.

This 100%. For some of the shows that Kenny has already watched, its less about his immediate reaction, and more leading the discussion in the right direction. You guys both deliver your own amazing takes!

gamerx

Literally neither of them heard the line where katana man said the gun devil wants dengies heart

I think they're gonna be fine if they made it to this point. Typically at least when Female reactors watch this if they're unable to make it to episode 7 generally its game over

Devon P

Yay Kenny acknowledges how excited some of us was to hear Montanas analysis of this episode. 😁

Justin Spencer

It’s funny that episode 8 is the pull you in episode but it’s def the episode that got my attention

Æther Paradox

You guys should watch Your Lie in April. Short and my #1 anime of all time.

Yes I didn’t know if the counting was directly 1 count=1 year or if it took off several per count

Alex

Had no idea Kenny had only seen up to this episode. Excited for both of them to see the rest of the season!

Idk if you’re familiar with bleach but I think it works like soi fon’s weapon where if it doesn’t connect all its hits then it does nothing it’s either all or nothing

I remember reading this page of the manga for the first time. I began reading this manga several months before the announcement for the anime and this is just a taste of the bizarre and unexpected world of Chainsaw Man

Graham

Painsaw Man is here! This event kind of signifies the end of innocence for the show, like, it’s all downhill from here. In a good way, I just mean that the stakes keep getting even more and more dire, things get even more chaotic, the alternate history 90’s the show is set in gets even weirder and more divergent. Btw I was wondering if we’re gonna get like, a compilation of ending reactions or something? I’d like to see what y’all thought of them!

JustChris

They heard the part where he said the gun devil is after his heart but they forgot that denjis heart is litterally pochita

mal

kenny stopped at peaksaw man. from this episode on are the best episodes of the season

Ashton

I love whenever a character does something unexpected, Montana jumps to mind control or possession😂 I just find it funny thats the first place her mind goes most of the time

LuxLoser

Im late, but I just wanted to point out that killing the Zombie Devil didn't kill the zombies. In Ep 1, we see Denji personally carve up all the zombie yakuza, Katana's grandpa included.
