Yesssss. Unpopular opinion, the story of movie 3 is so gooddd. But I mostly like how each movie touches face with the whole world not just japan/korea.

H-Bomb 24

The Sero slander this episode was uncalled for. 😂

H-Bomb 24

"What a cute little group moment. I hope nothing horribly wrong happens." Dangit, Montana! Why'd you have to jinx it?!

defnotdai

world heroes is the best movie idc idc

H-Bomb 24

As of this video, there have only been 11 episodes of season seven, Kenny.

H-Bomb 24

I appreciate your guys' positivity regarding this season as a whole. 😊

Keyblade

I don't think season 5 was bad, it's just not that action heavy as some other seasons. As you both already mentioned, it's more about build up and character development. As a result, season 6 is pretty much non-stop action.

Erin Ryan

Who are montanahs favourite my hero characters rn? I know Kennys fav is All Might

Markub El Jaden

Btw there's a short 4 minutes long OVA called "Departure" that acts as a prequel to the 3rd movie and I think it would be cool if you watched it before the movie, its not THAT important for the plot but I still think it would be really fun to include.

The Joint Battle Arc had an outrageous amount of recaps and flashbacks as they stretched 6-7 episodes of content to 11 episodes. The manga chapters in that arc were very short due to Horikoshi struggling with his health at the time. Whenever new stuff was going on throughout the season it was good, the first half was just really poorly paced and artificially stretched. It does serve the purpose of making the end of season 5 set up the war, but I would argue the better option would have been to make it a 21 episode season then. I think they learned the lesson from season 5 and that's why season 7 is going to be a shorter season.

chris

all might could fly around just by flexing his muscles

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Bakugo is so unironically hilarious it kills me. Like yeah he's still aggressively argues with deku but if you notice, he has started to treat deku like he does his other friends like kirishima and Kamanari. Oh the budding friendship is so adorable

MegumiMary

Season 6 LET'S GO! Also I started Crying over All Might Saying saying he decided to live Such a powerful moment for him!

Gerardo Mendez

Floating is different from flying, think of it as a jump with control

Yep. They took a break a couple weeks ago because the TV station the show airs on in Japan was doing a special. And they're on break this week because of the Olympics.

Alex

You guys having the moral dilemma about the intro song is so funny. I totally get Montana there. Excited for the next season.

Pugz

Rewatching, this finale is such a breath of fresh air in comparison, even if it was kinda recap. The kids having their hot pot party is actually soo wholesome and sweet 😭

David Bodor

Deku could basically double jump, but now he could do it infinitely.

Gdawg88

Can we talk about how Eri is known to be unable to control her powers and her powers quite literally kills people and Nejire, without a thought, comforts Eri. Absolute G

Riley

To be fair he did fly through the air against Chisaki with 100% and Eri

Jinchuriki87

Montana is probably remembering when deku fought overhaul, where he was basically using wind pressure to propel himself around while he fought him

MaSeshield9277

I'm going to admit Montana changed my mind on season 5. Genuinely was my least favorite season and I had a lot of criticisms about it and I guess I still do but wow the way she just explained that and frame that and obviously having watched it again with you guys I think I like it a lot more now and I know longer think it's a bad season

Forreal. When she's holding her, Nejire looks like Eri's legit older sister. 🥰

Christopher Collier

The kids name is Dai, not die. Gotta remember that we’re in Japan.

Eric C

the way i cannot wait to see them get to S6 and 7....shit is W I L D

Revin MacGrath

When Bakugo wants to kill you in S1: "Toxic. Bully. Cancelled." When Bakugo wants to kill you in S3+: "Sweet. Adorable. Wholesome."

Amanda-Nicole

Also a note on the 4th generation, we see in S1 E1 the doctor said that Izukus mom was a 4th generation quirk user. Interesting tidbit if you’ve followed any of the conspiracy theories about Deku’s original quirk potentially being stolen.

Jinchuriki87

"souperaki" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Jinchuriki87

As insanely excited I am to see y'all watch WHM, and Montana to see s6... S7 has been absolutely INSANE, and I can't wait to be able to watch y'all BOTH react to seeing the insanity unfold...holy hell

Juan Solo

Going into season 6 at the same time as JJK's Shibuya Incident arc is wild. Enjoy the next 3 months... 😅💀

zay collins

The aizawa all might scene always touches me I like how there relationship grew over time. Even just aizawa thanking him for his offer to help teaching Eri now when he felt all might used to be a bad teacher is nice because old him would've declined or said something smart but he clearly appreciated and likes all might more now and has been slowly for awhile and it's small but just gets to me in the feels for some reason lol

Doge Creations

as someone who also loves the s4 and s6 intros the most, i'm VERY excited for you to hear the season 7 part 2 intro, it's probably in the same tier as those for me

Bryan

YESSIR BEST SEASON COMING UP

ellie

rewatching this season with you guys for the first time in a while and the parallels between shigaraki and eri are so good 😭

Derek Chase

Do we know if Kenny is like caught up caught up?

Keyblade

I think he said he knows all of season 6, and season 7 will be new to him.

WhateverIFeelLike

Montana is right his quirk singularity theory is total BS, AFO is only interested in it because he steals multiple quirks and also gives them to his subordinates. However just giving someone a quirk doesn’t make their body capable of handling that quirk and AFO subordinates would sometimes die as a result of the incompatibility. Deku for example had to train for 8 months before he could inherit OFA and it still messed him up However that’s all the result of deliberately altering someone’s DNA in a very imprecise way and not how Quirks, DNA, and Evolution work naturally. Deku was born without a quirk despite being born to parents who both had Quirks. This proves that there’s an upper limit to the % of the population that has quirks since not everyone inherits one. Then there’s the Todoroki family where Endeavour went out of his way to deliberately create a more powerful Quirk and it took him 4 attempts. Let’s also not forget about people like Eri who gain a totally random mutation that has nothing to do with either parent. Every single instance of someone’s body being unable to handle their quirk is because someone was deliberately trying to manipulate DNA, it’s not something that happens naturally as this guy suggests
