Yo first woo 🖐️ 😂🙏

I can see how the "reduce your sentence" system would be ok... depending on the crime committed Someone who murdered/raped someone (or similar extremes) I don't think should be given that option. (Which given the initial vibes of these particular criminals...it feels like they likely fall into this category) Non violent offenders, it makes a little more sense at least.

"So, we some kinda . . . Suicide Squad?"

Chris Collier

Have we decided on what’s after Solo?

Rob Carlstrom

I agree with montana that its unethical because theres a financial incentive to incarcerate more people with harsher sentences and then say if you want out early do free labor for us while we reap the profit. Who knows if thats exactly whats happening here but it is what happens in the real world. When there is an option to extract free labor, prisons and their systems will find a way to ensure their labor force swells.

HBelmont 24

YES! I hope it pans out this time 🤞😖🤞

It’s kinda funny hearing Vegeta and Whis argue but in a different anime

I kinda agree and disagree at the same time. I mean, I don't think it's that unethical to offer this option, but like someone said in another comment, it should depend of the offend committed. But if you're in jail, that means that you wrong the society (but not following a certain rule), so "working for free" is actually paying your dept to that society, and in return, you're still "paid" by a reduced sentence. I mean, isn't that the point of Community Service (without the "I could be killed by a monster at any time obviously haha)? Hope I make sense

Rob Carlstrom

Sure but community service doesnt have a financial incentive for the jailor. My point is that its a slippery slope of providing an incintive to jail more people for less severe crimes and hand out harsher punishments to feed back into this system that otherwise wouldnt have been given as long of a sentence in the past or hell even given jail time in the past but now theres a gain to be had from doing so.

Funfact: Kang and Shigaraki are both voiced by the same japanese voice actor

renuzui

Still so wild to me how strong Shigaraki got. His theme is so badass too! 😭😭

Felius' Inferni

Quite the coincidence that 5 out of the 6 survivors go on a raid together. Shame we never found out what happened to the 6 survivor after the first dungeon in either the Manwa or the Light Novel. She was never mentioned again.

Crimson Void

I cannot pin point the show I know the voice actor for choi jong-in from. It’s driving me crazy lol.

Tzimisce Queen

He is voiced bu Ian Sinclair. brook from One Piece, Whis from Dragon Ball, Shoji from MHA, Tsukasa from Dr Stone, and so many more.

How do we know there is a financial incentive to the prison? There was nothing stated about the prison being compensated for this program. They just stated that due to the shortage of hunters, the Hunters Association could request prisoners in return for reduced sentences. There was no other compensation stated or even implied.

demonic-myst

Their is no finacial incentive those cuffs cost more than what they will make on the raid Hunters can break steel those cuffs have eccence dtones in them to reinforce them to keep a hunter prisoner costs more thsn u will make back on raids

Agree with the ethical thing here. The problem isnt so much in the prisoners getting the choice after they are in prison. The problem is it creates a incentive for law enforcement to put people in jail. We see this with for profit prisons already. There are for profit prisons that sued states for not meeting quotas of prisoners. There are judges who got kick backs for heavily sentencing people to prison when the crime didn't usually carry it. And there are cases where laws are written in a way to make it easy to jail certain demographics over others to exploit the labor. Now in this case it isnt a problem but using any prisoner to make profit incentives unethical practices.

We knownthe raids brings in a lot of money. Therebare resources being gathered in these raids. We dont know who gets the profit but profit is happening.
