Warning for episode 4 please be careful

Katsuki BakuGOAT

It's so amazing that Alex brightman voices Sir Pentious and Adam both lmao 🤣 talented

Katsuki BakuGOAT

I hate Valentino but I LOVE that you can sometimes hear him squeak like a moth when he moves his antenna. The sound designed in this show is so good man. Vox's game show sounds, Alastors radio voice, huskers feline sounds, Alastors elk call when he transforms. I love it all

H-Bomb 24

Arcane season two trailer coming this week?

demonic-myst

Yes he dies, to break down the vs Valintino he owns the sex industry porn brothels strip clubs Vox he owns the tvs and is a tech brow owning cameras and stuff aswell Valvet is social media fashion , internet streaming , social media sites she is propaganda incarnate

Katsuki BakuGOAT

In case you missed it, The drawing of Alastor that Vox puts up on the screen when he's singing says "Smelly Probably. Furry. Dumb hair. Gross hoof feet. Lame stick." And it has the word "Dildo?" Drawn pointing to the top of Alastors staff.

demonic-myst

angel died of a drug overdose and as val said is an adict so yea its very insensative

The hierarchy of hell in the hazbin verse is never directly stated in hazbin hotel or helluva boss, but it was confirmed outside of it if you were wondering. It goes Lucifer, the King of Hell and the Sin of Pride Charlie and Lilith, lucifer's daughter and wife The Seven Deadly Sins, demons who embody one of the seven deadly sins The Ars Goetia, hellborn Demons with royal status Overlords - Demons who wield considerable power, like alastor and the Vs Sinners, Immortal Demons who were once humans on Earth, having sinned were damned to Hell Hellborn demons like Succubi, Incubi, and other species of demons native to Hell Imps and Hellhounds, the bottom of Hell's society

Ferret

Imagine getting your ass kicked in your own villain song, what an introduction to Vox.

Kalla

Honestly, Charlie should've gone to earth to rehabilitate Sinners who are alive instead of the ones in hell. Hell being overpopulated is because of the sinners on earth. Preventing Sinners from being sent to hell solves the problem entirely. She would also get a perspective on humanity’s imperfections as well.

Relliar

I think an element of Alastor's strength/their conflict plays off how tv signals and wifi are radio waves, so Vox's whole domain is dependent conceptually on Alastor's.

Eric Gjertsen

The fact that I didn't get the serpent part of Sir Pentious until you said it makes me want to rewatch this entire series again.

Tom Horne

Either before or after episode 4, could you guys do a reaction to the music video "Addict" which is on Vivziepop's channel (the creator of Hazbin Hotel). It is a fan-made song created by Silva Hound and was created before the Amazon Prime series of Hazbin, but was considered "soft canon" to the series. It basically means that the events that take place etc within the music video aren't "real" but it gives you insight into certain character's, their lives and their backstories. Even some of the lyrics in the song are used to convey certain things which the creator wanted to get across, and it's such a great addition to the lore (plus it's a really good / catchy song)

Fries

you've probably gotten this comment several times but you've definitely gotta watch helluva boss next, it takes place in the same universe but takes place in a different circle of hell. also an important thing to note is that there are 9 circle of hell and sinners cannot freely travel through them, only hellspawn can, sinners reside in the first layer, the pride ring, with lucifer

Imp City exists within the same circle the hotel does, just a different part of the pentagram

Big K

I never even realized how similar Charlie and Leslie Knope are the similarities are crazy

Strike177

I love the whole "Video Killed the radio star" vibe

Jana Kröte

I just can't hate any character from the show, love them all. The Vees and Adam are my favorites and one more character to come.

So, there is a bit of Background that people who have followed this for a long time know, but doesn't really get explained in the show. 1. People aren't really getting 'punished' as such. Honestly, hell is pretty much just a reflection of earth, with all the same bills, worries etc _and_ also the fact that people can kill you and there is no judicial system. 2. On the topic of killing: It is briefly alluded to hear, but unless Sinners are killed with Angelic weapons specifically, they won't die. They just reconstitute rather painfully at a later date. (Remember Velvette saying "He tore up my best Model and you know the show can't wait for that unlucky Bitch _to pull herself back together again_!) 3. The one way people _are_ kind of punished is their demonic form. It constitutes of two things: The way they died and an aspect about themselves that they hated when they were alive and is now greatly exaggerated.

Yes please, it would be so good if you watched it before episode 4

Saiyasha

This will be an outlier, but "It starts with Sorry" is actually my favourite song. Alex Brightman (Yes, that is him) and Erika Henningsen have such _beautiful_ harmonies

Babybear47

Vox and alastor is bring back memories of the song from The Buggles "video killed the radio star" but idk if it has anything to do with this series

Nabs.shani

DAMN Montana is so smart and spot on. Also not a spoiler just a clarification cause its confusing, demons and sinners aren't the same. Sinners are people sent to hell and demons are hellborn creatures or beings like Charlie. Each one has their own power hiearchy which we see more of in the show

The title for this episode is a play on the title of this song! The title is “Radio killed the video star”!

Incorrect. Alastor is both a demon and a sinner, for example. In this universe, all sinners in hell are demons, but not all demons are sinners (such as the imps and hellhounds featured in Helluva Boss, who are natives to hell and were never human).
