Neutral Nick

KENNY LOVES US FOR REAL. THANKS COMMENTS CREW

Big Fuze

LETS FUCKING FO

Isaac Dominguez

Yeess!!!!! Kenny! You are the best!!! Finally!!!

Chase

THANK YOU SOO MUCH

Jinchuriki87

Kenny going plus ultra for us yet again!!!! I think it's safe to say we ALL very much appreciate this!!!

Brandon Tski

You might as well have injected the dopamine directly into my veins, you're a fuckin' treasure. TIME TO DANCE

Amanda-Nicole

The way I screamed at this notification

H-Bomb 24

This is why you guys are the GOAT content creators

H-Bomb 24

There NEEDS to be another Kenny Light internal monologue when Montana says she loves a dance. 🤣

H-Bomb 24

It honestly pisses me off when people act like this was a dumb twist. They act like it was obvious with Dabi's scenes with Shoto and Endeavor in hindsight. Sure, you think that NOW, but I highly doubt those people were thinking that the whole time.

Butthead faxe

THIS WHY I SPEND MY MONEY U KNOW WHAT THE PPL WANTTTT

H-Bomb 24

You know what I realized? Toga looks pretty much EXACTLY like Roxie Richter from Scott Pilgrim.

Justin Spencer

Endeavor sounds less scummy in dub I find him a lot less redeemable in sub. This has been very interesting watching with you guys in dub vs sub like I first did English being my first language

H-Bomb 24

Dabi's VA KILL IT this episode! He's been repressing himself this whole time, and now he finally gets to let loose.

Lilac_Flower

Let's gooo I was waiting for Montana to see this one!

H-Bomb 24

Interesting that having more kids wasn't JUST Endeavor's wish. Rei wanted more kids, too.

Natsu_Graeme

Aww perfect! Going on holiday for 2 weeks this weekend so wouldn't have gotten to see it till I came back. Love this episode.

Noboi
>>148603425

Well, no. She stopped wanting more kids after Fuyumi. Also having kids was kind of the whole point of the marriage as Endeavor wanted a worthy successor

Noboi
>>148602372

I think it’s just because we can understand more of what he’s saying. That being said, he’s a pretty scummy person regardless of

Noboi

Most people have been looking forward to this one lol

Justin Spencer
>>148602372

Yea the dub makes a point of saying the mom wanted more kids I do not remember this line in sub they try to make it more like the mom had some autonomy that was not the impression I got from the subbed though

jess

does anyone know if kenny has seen season 7?

Noboi

Ngl, Toya’s hard not to root for here. He basically gave Endeavor exactly what he deserves. Problem is that he’s also a murderer now. But hey, a broken clock is always right occasionally or whatever the saying is lol

H-Bomb 24
>>148603425

Are you sure? Endeavor said he wanted Toya or Fuyumi to have siblings, plural.

Gdawg88
>>148601788

Dabi being a todoroki/related to Endeavor was one of the biggest and just purely accepted theories after his introduction in the manga

Ashley Twigg

Montanas COMPLETE jaw drop on the Dabi reveal was great lol

H-Bomb 24
>>148601788

Still tho. This was a good, well-executed twist, and I'm sick of people acting like it's not.

H-Bomb 24
>>148604116

Exactly. Just cause he was put through that doesn't change the fact that Toya CHOSE to be a murderer.

Braden Jackson

Thank you so much for the double drop love you guys

H-Bomb 24

If I had a nickel for every time Jason Liebrecht voiced an anime character's evil long lost brother, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it would happen twice, right?

Lilac_Flower
>>148603933

He said he didn't yet so him and Montana we'll both be seeing for the first time!

Noboi
>>148603425

Well yeah, but Rei objected then because she knew having more kids would be cruel to Toya, but Endeavor still pushed. Plus, it was most definitely still about his goal since he immediately jumped to train Shoto when he realized he had a good quirk combination.

Ej

The thing that had me fully convinced Dabi was a Todoroki way back was the combo of fire + the torqouise eye color. Of all the crazy and wild designs, I couldn't find a single other character with that specific eye color so my conspiracy brain was fully active lol

Noboi
>>148602372

To be fair, that was a disingenuous thing for Endeavor to say because it’s hardly true. She suggested having another kid once and then objected to having more but Endeavor still pushed.

Amanda-Nicole
>>148601788

It was a great twist, but also going back on rewatch, there were so many subtle hints pointing towards it. At the end of the day it was just really well executed.

Noboi
>>148604116

I suppose his plan there was to have a high enough kill count for it to truly wreck Endeavor’s reputation. That being said, I think he definitely could have done that without the killing. Still, Toya was 100% in his right to do what he did in this episode mostly.

Mary

I would say that Natsuo and Fuyumi did not suffer as Dabi did and that the one who might have suffered in a similar way might be Shoto. Referring to how Endeavor pinned their hopes on both of them. Natsuo and Fuyumi were not even counted as possible candidates so they did not suffer from the same situation.

William Roberts

my first watch through was recent, and I wanted to know something about Dabi, like what his flames were or something innocent, but then I googled 'Dabi MHA' and was immediately spoiled.

Jawrool

I only began to think that Dabi was Toya when he said Hawk's real name. Something about that scene made me think "Oh he isn't just the second strongest in the League." That's when my brain started on a rabbit trail that lead me to wonder "Is Dabi Toya?" Still though I'm almost never right with theories so I was pretty damn shocked when it was revealed to be true.

Mekar
>>148609080

You really can't look for anything related to MHA because the main fandom wiki puts manga spoilers front and center. At this point even the AI summary results that Google and Bing do are likely to spoil you because of that site.

Noboi
>>148606146

Tbf, they still suffered profusely considering they knew exactly what Endeavor was doing and were powerless to do anything. Not to mention the neglect.

Mary
>>148606146

Oh, yes, I'm not saying they didn't suffer. I just wanted to clarify that I thought it was a different kind of suffering between them and Dabi with Shoto.

xx1312xJAYx1312xx

Let's gooo, this one got me my first watch through. Also thank y'all for the double drop, I think this was the best way to do these ones! 💖

Erin Ryan

Fun fact: when the chapter of Dabis reveal was released the tag Dabi became more popular than the election in 2020

Jinchuriki87

Also, to add Kenny, how much better do you feel with that weight lifted?? 🤣🤣 This is my first watch of the dub version of this season. Dabis VA was PHENOMENAL here!!! I'm surprised neither of y'all talked about the fact that (correct me if Im wrong) this was the first time shoto called endeavor "dad" Good lord I can't express my excitement enough for the rest of this season and s7

L.C.

Its funny to see that you guys didn't catch onto dabi being toya cause a lot of people already suspected that by the time toya was brought up in the story. Some people didn't even suspect it but others were constantly putting the pieces together during the manga to know that it had to be him. Its better seeing the reactions to people who don't know about it because it is a big twist if you don't suspect anything.

Saiyasha

Montana: Listen, I don't mind Dabi airing out Endeavors dirty laundry on National Television, but using Prominence Burn on him is juts disrespectful! Love the priorities XDD

Gestrid

I will say I think Best Jeanist's entrance would've been better if the scene at the beginning of this episode was moved to the beginning of next episode as a flashback or removed entirely. It would've worked better as a complete surprise.

chris

the only thing keeping dabi alive was his vendetta, his a walking corpse weak to his own flames.. yet even in that state his flames are the strongest in the series

Braden Jackson

Hey guys just gonna let you know but I’m not expecting a triple upload or anything but a new trailer for Arcane is out

Jordie

the pure shock on montanas face 😭😭

Jordie

i’m so annoyed i didn’t realize they were related cause now looking back on it dabi was the only one outside the todoroki family with a fire quirk 😭😭

Alex

Thanks so much for the double drop! Waiting till Sat would have killed!

Scar

Nooo I would’ve much rather have had a double upload on Saturday with this episode and the next instead of waiting until next week😭

Chase
>>148629458

But now we have to wait a whole week for the next episode 😔

Fenixnade
>>148626112

I mean, plenty of Endeavors' sidekicks have fire quirks. Burnin for one. BUT, his eyes are the same color. That's what had me wondering.

Markub El Jaden

Double drop AND 8 questions? Kenny understood the assignment.

awildjord

unfortunately i got spoiled about dabi being toya bc i started the show around the time season 6 was coming out and bc i was watching ur guys' reactions a little afterwards, mha stuff kept appearing on my youtube and one short had the reveal both in the thumbnail and the title :') i still wonder whether i would've figured it out on my own if i hadn't been spoiled so early on same thing happened with the traitor bc of manga readers saying it in a comment section before the episode even came out smfh ;-;

Jordie
>>148626112

i mean the simularities within the quirks and i even would question myself and ask if he was toya 😭😭

Mythic.Rob

so is Montana's character art for this show switching to Dabi now?

Rem

Man, I got so sad once I reached the end of the video! I can't wait to watch the next reactions. Part of me wishes you two would only watch MHA till you catch up. XD

Gestrid
>>148618541

No, I don't think so. A deus ex machina is more like something completely unimaginable with absolutely NO setup happening to keep the heroes going. We already know Hawks is a double agent at this point. So, at this point in the story, we can logically assume Best Jeanist isn't dead and that his death was faked somehow. But the scene at the beginning of this episode kind of ruins Jeanist's surprise entrance. The viewer begins expecting him to show up at some point during the episode to save the day, especially after Dabi/ Toya says Hawks killed Best Jeanist. Moving it to the beginning of the next episode as a flashback to explain how Jeanist got there keeps the surprise intact. And it's something MHA has done before, too, like when Deku saved Iida from Stain. We saw Deku smash Stain, then they cut to commercial. When they came back from commercial, they flashed back a few minutes earlier and showed how Deku found Iida.

James S

Montana’s reaction this episode was EVERYTHING! Holding off on the discussion was a good call Kenny!

dannydarko27

It is said that the only hero Montana loves more than Best Jeanist is Grape Juice.

blue_haruki

You guys should watch rick and morty after hazbin hotel or edge runners it's just like hazbin hotel but not a musical

Scar

The only person that did know about Dabi was presumably Hawks when they fought

Scar
>>148604116

I mean the murder definitely isn’t right but if it weren’t for endeavors actions, he wouldn’t have become a murderer. Which is exactly his point about mentioning how many people he’s killed to hurt endeavors reputation as revenge. Still his choice in the end but wouldn’t have happened without endeavors abuse

Noboi
>>148604116

Oh absolutely. Endeavor is still the core of this problem.

gamerx

Why you sneak the double upload 😭 I was here for jujutsu

gamerx

The episode where the four kids are revealed to be Fight Flight Freeze And Fawn

Chandman

I think the next episode has my favorite hero reveal

Saiyasha

For Natsuo, this must be especially harrowing. He and Toya seemed to have a rather close relationship as the two older boys, Dabi even said "I would cling to Natsu crying" meaning they supported each other through the really bad times. So for him to now see the brother he thought he lost like this... And Dabi apparently no longer caring about him, since he led the Criminal to their house that nearly killed Natsuo, all in an attempt to hurt Endeavor.

Saiyasha

I think the Endeavor fanboy is a really interesting perspective. He does not want to believe _any_ of what Dabi said, but we, the Audience actually know it is true. But for someone like him, who admired Endeavor from afar, the man is eitehr black or white. As a general Fanboy of the hero Endeavor, it is hard to square that Endeavor is a really good hero who saves a lot of people and Enji Todoroki is (was?) a terrible human being who neglected and abused his wife and children. But both of these realities are true and it shows how fragile the image of 'Hero' is, that the ones bearing the Title pretty much cannot really have human flaws without their image crumbling. It's more or less what Stain was on about too. He was of the opinion that a true hero is supposed to give everything for the greater good, without thinking of themselves. This would, very naturally, disqualify most people. Most people are sometimes selfish and maybe try to survive something at the cost of someone else. They make mistakes and choices they regret. And what Stain admires in people like Allmight and Deku is actually shown as a flaw, in that, both of them are willing to just destroy themselves with no regard for everyone else - which mentally hurts everyone around them. To be a 'hero' in Stains eyes and I think in the general Public view would mean to stop being human. And that is not a longterm sustainable solution

Saiyasha

Oh my god, I just noticed it: That Handgesture Dabi is making in the beginning of the video, with the fingers layed together, is really really similar to the gesture Shoto was making after the Nomu/Endeavor fight to calm himself down. So either they both picked it up from Enji, but since we have never seen him do it, I think Shoto may have picked it up from Dabi (I might be off here, but I just had this brainwave so, there you go)

Bryan
>>148704371

Interesting. I saw it and I thought of Uraraka cuz I’m slow

defnotdai

As valid as Toya's trauma is, I was still team Endeavor because I love a good character arc. Whole family needs some damn therapy, and maybe a mental institution, and a jail cell for Toya. I can't wait for the next few episodes

Velocity Paige

I’m always conflicted during this arc because I feel like the only person who hates Dabi lmaooo

defnotdai
>>148796976

Nah, you're not alone lol. I don't hate him, but the way he is just annoys me. I can't elaborate further right now because of spoilers

Stellarnut
>>148796976

I don’t hate him and his dad obviously was a bad father but he’s definitely stretching the truth because endeavor was actually kind and motivating towards him and once he started hurting himself endeavor made (imo) a good decision to try and stop him and tell him it’s ok to not be a hero he can do something else with his life and toya chose to keep pushing himself and caused his own destruction. I feel the same when people try to omit his moms actions as just “well dad abused her” yes, that’s true and horrible on endeavors part, but taking it out on your children and specifically permanently scarring one of them when they were 5 years old is in no way ok.

Justin

Some much hype was built on this episode by the community and when I watched it I just cringe lol some chapters are better in the manga and this was one of them

JoeCrazy

Am I the only one who gets a giggle seeing Best Jeanist have B.J. on his belt buckle. I know I'm being immature, but I can't help it.

Rob Carlstrom

WOW 107 comments thats the most ive ever seen on a patreon post! All i hope is that that grilled cheese was fantastic.

KM
>>148796976

I get this but it also removes a lot of context. Endeavor didn’t just tell Touya to stop training, he completely neglected & refused to spend ANY time with him because he couldn’t train. So of course the kid was desperate to keep trying because he wanted his dad’s attention back. Endeavor could’ve literally just spent time with him instead of abandoning him lol. He gave him a purpose as a ridiculously young child, then took it away & abandoned him. It’s neglect & abuse.

KM

The word used in Japanese for “innocent people” is closer to “unrelated people” as in they’re innocent in the context of the Endeavor stuff as they’re not involved. Personally, I believe Dabi is counting the villain thugs & MLA members we saw him kill because we don’t know of anybody else & before he joined the League it was specifically said he didn’t commit many big crimes.

Velocity Paige
>>148796976

Yeah but I think there is some nuance to Endeavor’s choices that I’m hesitant to discuss because it may constitute spoilers. I think the “spoiler free” (but still kind of spoilery tbh) gist of my thoughts on their relationship is the conflict of emotionally neglecting/abandoning your child because you think it’s the best thing for them, only for it to backfire (not too unlike Nana leaving her son, who eventually grew to resent heroes). And more than anything, it’s upsetting to see Dabi, who compared to the other Todoroki siblings had the closest to a healthy relationship with Endeavor, wanting specifically to hurt and kill the other victim’s of Endeavor’s neglect and abuse

Scar
>>148679993

The point is he told Hawks knowing he couldn't tell anyone at the moment, most likely thinking he was going to kill Hawks. Dabi wasn't dead set on his reveal until Hawks being saved and Enji and Shoto being together to witness it

patricia jimjimcherie
>>148796976

To reply to you Kaiser, Velocity Paige is correct. The only thing Toya wanted was to train, any time he wanted with Endeavor was that, and Enji did not know what to do but ignore him, because he thought that's the only thing he himself had to offer as well. It obviously backfired, bcs honestly what MHA needs are psychologists and psychiatrists but's a conversation for another time XD

Jittercritter

Kenny visibly bracing himself before Dabi’s Dance 😂 The mixed feelings Horikoshi managed to create here is INSANE

Jittercritter

I actually knew about this twist before I even started this show, and I had seen clips of the dance previously and thought it looked cringy. When I actually got to this moment, I was so locked in it actually made me feel nauseous. Aside from the absolutely killer buildup, the contrast between Dabi’s usual aloof persona and this manic, obsessive, sadistic joy was absolutely mind blowing.

Curtis Murphy
>>148603425

Well I would actually honestly say that she was ultimately fine with having Natsuo. It was when they had Shoto when she was REALLY reluctant to have more as that's when Endeavor's obsession was at its hightest point

Curtis Murphy
>>148602372

It absolutely was in the sub. He says that Rei thought having more kids they could show support to one another

Curtis Murphy
>>148602372

I think having Natsuo wasn't out of the question for her. There was reluctance but I don't honestly think she was too pushed into having him

Curtis Murphy
>>148602372

Really? I thought the dub made him sound MORE scummy. They really emphasize that each kid wasn't his masterpiece that he was looking for in the dub
