Kenny, I have a proposition. There's a YouTube channel called Remix by Raven who makes well-edited reaction compilations of other YouTubers watching shows, Arcane included. They'll likely start on season two pretty soon, so would that be something you guys would be interested in? I could suggest your guys' channel to them, but I won't if you do don't want it.

HBelmont 24

Am I the only one who thought Jinx looked . . . kinda better here than last season? She didn't have those visions like she did in season one.

HBelmont 24

I'm bummed we only got one episode with Smeech. He seemed like a fun character; plus, he sounded like Rocket on crack. 😅

Juan Solo

I think the "someone put all those holes in you" Jinx refers to is "Powder". I think she's fully aware she killed Silco, but she pins the blame on her past identity as a way to cope. (So I guess she is sort of disassociating) Powder saved Vi by killing Silco, then Jinx "killed" Powder (rejecting Vi and blowing up the Council) to avenge Silco.

Juan Solo

I don't think it's a coincidence that we don't see "Mylo" once this episode, after Jinx shot the Mylo puppet in the S1 finale.

Sol

Just to say the wolf from episode one and at the end of this one, it is called a murk wolf, which is a wolf that has 2 heads

Juan Solo

I just noticed that Ekko's shadows at the beginning of the new intro look like clock hands ticking backwards.

HBelmont 24

"Paye 'im what 'e's worth." That was a great Vander impersonation, Kenny. 🤣

Erin Ryan

Jesus era viktor is so majestic looking

Yazmeen V.

btw the intros have slight differences each episode so far, mainly within the flashes

Ezra Margot

Viktor in his Jesus Christ era gathering his 12 disciples and group of follwers. Gotta love it

HBelmont 24

Don't mention it. 😁 Just thought I'd suggest it since you guys watched season one later than most, but you'd be on time for this one. Remixed takes a WHILE to make these, too.

HBelmont 24

The keep bringing up the game mechanics with Sevika's new arm, but I'm pretty sure she's not in the game. Also, I didn't know Montana played DnD with you, Kenny! 😃

Ezra Margot

I noticed in the intro that everyone is barefoot. Could signify multitude of things. Humility, or service, or wisdom. Maybe everyone going back to their roots. I don't know, it was definitely an intentional artistic choice

Erin Ryan

I think in season one she would've freaked out and try to kill all the enforces too

Seachelle

I mean, she’s more sure of her identity here, even if she still hates herself. So it makes sense. Tho she seems even more passively suicidal now. The dead eyes carried over from the end of last season too. Really it’s more of a pick your poison situation with her

Cosmic Youth

She's going to be a champion the new TFT set, but currently not playable in League

Daran Tung

The wolf had two heads not two wolfs

HBelmont 24

I think Viktor seeing Skye is more than a mere hallucination based on guilt. Remember, she was killed BY the Hexcore, so I wouldn't be surprised of she's somehow part of it, now.

Aaron Scott

If you look up murk wolf from league, that's the creature singed is experimenting on. It's a single wolf with 2 heads. If you look at the beating heart, it looks like 2 hearts connected to each other

HBelmont 24

I totally thought it was a mated pair 😅

HBelmont 24

I just noticed your pfp is Violet Evergarden. 😄 GORGEOUS show.

Erin Ryan

Im theorising the hex core is showing sky to manipulate viktor to do what they want

HBelmont 24

Considering she was killed BY the Hexcore, whose to say she isn't now somehow part of it? Remember, she came from the Undercity, too.

Seachelle

I knew Sevika’s character in season 1 was good but damn, she’s for sure one of my favorites now. We knew she had ideals but she’s got MORALS too. And not in the peachy way either. I love the way her and Jinx’s dynamic has shifted. Next episode is gonna go CRAZY… I wouldn’t complain if you posted it early 🤭

Imari

Also everyone was in very loose fitting flowing colorful outfits and Kaitlyn was in this black skin tight shirt showing her grief is gonna effect her the entire season

HBelmont 24

Yeah, glad we're getting more of her

Juan Solo

You can see the little girl and Caitlyn's squad in the flashes of this episode's intro.

Mark O'Leary

FYI, there weren’t two wolves in the cave, there’s a wolf in League that has two heads. They’re apparently used a lot in level grinding.

Hawk

I recommend reviewing Silco's intro monologue in ep 3 for extra context for Jinx burying him in the river. "Ever wondered what it’s like to drown? Story of opposites. There’s peace in water. Like it’s holding you, whispering in low tones to let it in. And every problem in the world will fade away. But then, there’s this thing… in your head, and it’s raging. Lighting every nerve with madness. To fight. To survive. And all the while this question lingers before you: `Have you had enough?` It’s funny. You could pass a lifetime without ever facing a choice like that. But it changes you forever. For that, I thank you...Old friend." Now, it's Jinx in that peaceful water, trying to make peace with all of the pieces of her own cursed actions... And as Silco sinks peacefully out of sight, she hears 'Have you had enough?' And she RAGES, unable to die. Jinx doesn't know /how/ to let go. And I think that's the only thing keeping her going right now.

J

Jayce broke both of his promises to not use hextech as weapons and didn’t destroy the hexcore

Gwendolyn Vrisala

I'm pretty sure that's the two-headed wolf from the wolf camp in league of legends~

Schlong Shucker

That little rat man was bugging but I’ve gotta say the way his prosthetic arm moved was sick

HBelmont 24

Dude, I thought that first part with her and Silco underwater was symbolic. I didn't think she ACTUALLY buried him there. 🤯

Kiting

For anyone who feels like Viktor leaving Jayce was kind of quick, when he went to go pick up Sky's diary on the table he saw all the blueprints for all the weapons Jayce made and immediately decided to leave, feel like that scene didn't communicate it super clearly

Erin Ryan

Same I thought it was a dream

Erin Ryan

Fun fact: the music playing from Sevikas new arm is the song that League of Legends used to introduce jinx. We also heard it in season 1 when she had music blasting while silco was yelling her name

Braden Jackson

Btw a few things to note about victor he originally wanted hextec to help the people of the underground to live but ever since jinx stole one it’s as only hurt people Jayce made the hammer and used the gauntlets to fight his core to fix his sickness disintegrated his sky and when he told Jayce to destroy it Cuase he was effecting him Jayce fused it to him and when he woke up and grabbed sky’s notebook he saw the blueprints for all the weapons Jayce made so he was very upset and I’m guessing the core took him to the underground to give him what he wanted by saving people

Hawk

I reserve the right to be wrong, but the more I thought on it, the more I went - yeah, no, this is absolutely how she'd handle this.

Dylan Snodgrass

I'm so sorry, I feel it would be rude to not mention the wolf is a single wolf with two heads. <3 <3

Victoria Camarena Fiel

DON'T SKIP THE INTRO!! It has small changes every episode (I guess that will continue throughout the others) :)

Jinchuriki87

Damn this show is going off (as expected haha) My thoughts on the victor situation If you recall, heimerdinger talked about his history involving magic, that seeing it in the wrong hands devastated civilizations. The image that's shown while he talks about it bears a striking resemblance to Victor and his staff now. Idk if it would be assimilation, so much as it spreads its influence to as many as possible to channel energy from them later? Just a theory I'm so excited to see where everything leads! (Do we know if they're doing the 3 acts like they did with season 1? If so will there be a break after episode 3?)

Neutral Nick

not so fun fact: In the Dutch sub Victor says “het was liefde die ons samen hield” which directly translates to “it was love that held us together” so, Jayce fr fr got dumped :(

Braden Jackson

I believe since the hectech absorbed givtors simmer to ebolve o think it might be doing the same using victor as a battery but pretending like he is giving him his dream of helping others so it can have a large amount of power or the a condition that he isn’t aware of like now that I have my power in you and the ones you healed I can drain life or control that individual

Jittercritter

Sevika was my favorite character from season 1 so I’m suuuuper hyped to see her play a larger role. Her team up with Jinx is super exciting, I love their dynamic and honestly pairing the known gambler character, Sevika, with the wildcard character, Jinx, is a stroke of genius. That type of pairing is just such a natural and entertaining dynamic that it’s crazy I haven’t seen it before.

Jittercritter

I actually loved Smeech. I love the way Arcane animates mechanical body parts as actually machines rather than just metal limbs, so he was always super fun to watch. Also, he’s not really what you often expect from his type of character? I feel like he respected his Numbers guy more than most Big Bads in shows like this usually do. Like obviously he didn’t really CARE about him much, he did send him ahead into danger after all, but he also wasn’t being super aggressive or threatening when he said to make the numbers work. Usually when the Brains Sidekick tells the Bad Guy that the numbers aren’t working out, the response is to kill, injure, or otherwise threaten them. Instead, Smeech actually takes the time to somewhat explain his approach and then just tells the guy to do his job. Surprisingly calm, grounded, and reasonable for someone in his position, especially given the way these characters are usually written. I kinda wish we got to see more of him, ngl!

Archer Kuro

so the wolf was actually one wolf with 2 heads and is from the game. one having blue eyes and one having green makes me think singes was experimenting on it and it escaped so he had to hunt it back down and we see he chopped it up and took out it/their heart

mastertater

Ya looks like a wolf with 2 heads

HBelmont 24

Something to consider about this episode: Jayce and Ekko have actually met before. Ekko's the one who sold Jayce (who didn't haggle) some of his equipment back at the start of season, which led to Ekko giving Vi and Powder his location and kickstarting the plot of Arcane.

Linus Marjeta

Ekko is staring at Jayce like "Ah, this sucker"

Mathies

i dont think they'd remember eachother. he's like, just some dude who walked into your shop 7 years ago

Mathies

4:00 i think shes using selfdepricating humor

AuroraZero_

omg yall mentioning playing dnd, was that Montana's first time playing? thats exciting!
