JoshyBoi1912

Awww it's Catoru Gojoo!! Such an amazing cameo!

yob

SO excited for frieren

Lyrical Kell of Music

One GOAT leaves (Mahito) and another fills that vacuum (Yuta) Seriously if yuta didn’t exist or was out of commission for the foreseeable future I might have lost interest in the series after Mahitos death he was like the only character I absolutely loved in the series

blue_haruki

eh Close enough. WELCOME BACK SATORU!

blue_haruki

No Kenny mahito didn't give junpei a cursed technique what he was saying is that there's people who are born with a cursed technique but they don't know about cursed energy or jujutsu like junpei so he gave them knowledge about sorcerer's and cursed energy so that they can learn to use it you can't give a cursed technique or learn a cursed technique a cursed technique is something your born with you either have it or you don't

JoshyBoi1912

Catoru Gojo should be a regular feature imo, maybe that's just the cat lover in me xD

Alan Perez martinez

Brother you tried to correct and even you don't know what happened, what mahito did is alter Junpei's brain so that he could be able to use his innate technique.

HBelmont67

You should cosplay the the cats more often 😅

blue_haruki

Ok he still didn't give him a cursed technique he basically gave him a kick start even mahito said that normal sorceress would take months to learn there technique but that junpei can learn it fast

HBelmont67

Frieren is exactly the show you'll need after this series. It tugs on whatever heartstrings JJK didn't rip out. 😭

Addy

What a journey ya’ll. If anyone else has read the manga they know, the rollercoaster ride doesn’t end here! I can’t wait to come back with more questions for season 3!

Addy

I feel like they discuss this super briefly in season 1. Cursed users from the past, specifically the Heian era that Sukuna is from, that “Geto” wants to bring back tend to be more violent. There was a lot more challenging each other and fighting for sport than the present day. That’s why Yuki gets concerned when she realizes that. Normal people with awakened techniques might not just start fighting each other but awakened sorcerers from the past would.

I don't think anything will beat out MHA for me, but that's mostly bias. And it's always important to look beyond our biases so I have no problem admitimg that there's plenty that exceed MHA in plenty of things like plotlines and storytelling even though Horikoshi is a amazing in those aspects, especially character development. I believe Hori and Gege have both spoken favorably about each others work as well. MHA is just extremely special for me

Gdawg88

Not true at all, what???

Juan Solo

You missed Yuta being added in the intro! He replaced Shoko for only this episode (between Nobara covering her eye and Gojo being sealed).

Kristopher Sy

That first half (he he) is a joke. As for the plot, Gojo being sidelined admittedly will allow others to be focused on more.

Limini

without mahitos interference junpei wouldn't be able to use the technique at all no matter how much he trained bc his brain wasn't made for it. He'd be a window at most and wouldn't be able to utilize cursed energy at all

blue_haruki

Yeah and that's what geto is saying that he gave people with cursed techniques the knowledge so they can use them just like how mahito did for junpei but on a bigger scale

Babyyoshi

to clarify since they never end up saying it to my knowledge, the rika that yuta has is a shikigami replica

Juan Solo

Just a reminder that Reverse Cursed Technique can't reverse the effects of Idle Transfiguration. While RCT heals physical damage, it can't do anything against changes made to the soul. Hence why Todo's technique is essentially "dead". Think of it the same way as Overhaul not being able to use his quirk anymore because he lost his hands. It's also why Nobara's odds of surviving aren't great.

Danny C

Tiny spoiler, but yes, its not the ACTUAL girl, but just the monster

Jinchuriki87

The way this show has gone, I wouldn't be surprised if yuji WAS able to bust out gojo (and that's a big if for me, again with how this show has gone) ...that it would NOT turn out to be a cake walk after that. Something tells me that prison realm will have taken a toll on gojo (partly bc if I remember correctly, time flows differently in there than outside) I'm definitely HELLA excited to see what s3 brings!!!

Limini

it's not just the knowledge but he is reconstruing their brain/body on a physical level

blue_haruki

Yeah I didn't know that part next season is gonna be insane with all these people

Juan Solo

Another reminder that Tsumiki isn't related to the Zenin clan or have any powers (at least prior to "Geto" marking her). Her mom married Toji at some point after Megumi's mom died and before Toji left them, which is why she has the Fushiguro name but isn't related to Megumi or Toji (making her Megumi's stepsister).

Juan Solo

Time doesn't pass in the prison realm, which is why "Geto" considered keeping Gojo sealed for the next thousand years. So whenever Gojo is released, his time in the prison realm will only have been brief from his perspective. It'll be rough for him to find out what happened to his students while he was trapped.

Jinchuriki87

Ah ok, that's what it was. Appreciate the clarification! (And yeah, I can imagine gojo will take an insane mental hit if/when he can get out to find out the people he tried so hard to make his friends/allies were decimated bc he, essentially, lost focus for just a moment)

Babyyoshi

i thought it was never mentioned in the manga, i mustve missed it thats my bad

HBelmont67

WHOOOOO! Yeah, baby!

HBelmont67

Can't argue with that. I haven't really tried JJK and have no real urge to do so.

HBelmont67

Same. It's SUCH an easy show to love.

ディロン・ジョイナー

Montana is so right - a lot of things would have to go a very specific way to make Fake Geto's plan go right. If only there were some sort of rules that could be put in place for how people interact going forward :)

ディロン・ジョイナー

I believe what happened is Yuta released Rika the girl's soul but kept Rika the curse (like separated the girls soul from the curse he'd made her into and just released that part)

Babyyoshi

i know for sure the actual girl is released, either the curse stayed and became a shikigami or he got a copy of her as a shikigami, i dont know if they specified what exactly happened

matt i

can’t imagine how strict these rules would be hehe

shanime reactions

have you already watched any of the frieren episodes? about to come up with some questions but wondering which have already been done

Juan Solo

It's heartbreaking how he had so much faith in them, but now the only ones left standing are Yuji and Panda, at least for the moment. Mei Mei doesn't count for obvious reasons.

Letts React

Mahito did awaken the cursed technique in Junpei, so he gave him the ability to do cursed techniques

Jinchuriki87

Yeah it sucked they didn't rescue him, but it makes me appreciate the show more they were willing to not give us the typical "heroes come out on top" that happens so often

AJ Hutchinson

Just a heads up the opening title says episode 3: find yourself instead of the current jjk episode

LowHorizon

Is there a reason we are still using “pseudo geto”. I’m a manga reader and don’t want to spoil anything but it’s bothering me 😂

Erin Ryan

his name hasn't been revealed yet. There not really a clear thing to call him. Tho my bbg geto would never do something so evil

Erin Ryan

arghh theyre close but I think MHA is better too. JJK is too sad and I'm still not over Nobaras death.

Erin Ryan

bruh how do you love Mahito?

Erin Ryan

My king Yuta is hereee

Erin Ryan

"its fun vs I wanna see what happens" is so accurate for Sukuna and fake Geto Montanah

HBelmont67

I . . . . forgot. 😅 You might wanna ask one of the other guys with a moving pfp.

HBelmont67

Or just dress Waddles in a suit, like the real one 🐖 👔

Limini

cause he has his body but it's not him, we could call him kamo noritoshi at this point but there's already another one so....

Limini

when are you planning on watching them/how long do we have to ask our questions?

XRon256

I really want to see them react to dandadan i think they'll love it.

awildjord

yeah same kinda... jjk is arguably much better written, and has real stakes unlike mha but i just enjoy mha more.. i find it much easier to follow and rewatch the only thing that could beat mha for me is fmab lol

Ale

Aaaaa I'm so excited for season 3 mostly because yutaa, I like jjk but I missed yuta sm 😭

ssgutd

Saying JJK has better writing than MHA is wild. (Especially knowing how both mangas ended) JJK has better animation and fight choreography for sure though

Not Spez

I’m pretty sure you’re safe I don’t think Gege ever gave an explanation

Izrail Gevorgyan

All I can say about S3… YALL CANT EVEN IMAGINE.

HBelmont67

Yeah, both ended this year, and fans have been VERY vocal on what they thought of em.

Ryan Tolbert

I SAID THE SAME THING 😂😂

Itzkingkong

Yuta is here finally here !!But woah s3 is going to be crazy

Rob Carlstrom

KENNY now that youve watched all of it i highly recommend you watch a YouTube video by Heralen breaking down the music in the show it's called "gushing about jujutsu kaisen's soundtrack for 88 minutes" i think you'd get a kick out of it!

Braden Jackson

Btw I don’t think this is a spoiler but if so then let me know and I’ll delete it but I believe rika is now a shikigamy for Yuta Gojo stated that anyone with cursed energy can use barrier techniques like simple domain and use shikigamy under conditions for instance Yuki has a shikigamy based around her CT so Yuta does the same since the best way he knows how to copy is with rika his CT made a weaker rika than the CS one to help Yuta

burntlizard

Not sure where the best place to get into contact with you guys is, but have a really important question about my subscription! Please reach out to me if you can: my insta is burnt_lizards

Braden Jackson

Yea it is stated that any sorcerer depending on the CT could make a shikigamy that works with it for instance yujis shikigamy isn’t her CT but a it is made from it so Yuta is able to make a shikigamy to help or work with his CT and his CT used rika as a base for it so it essentially recreated her to a certain extent just without the actual soul of rika

IzanagiAce

I can't get past the corniness of the majority of MHA, I still like characters, episodes, and certain moments but good lord its so cheesy sometimes

Limini

Patreon has a DM option, otherwise you could try emailing them directly or through Patreon customer service

Limini

it's hard to compare them bc they have different focuses and themes. MHA is more lighthearted with deaths that don't feel too violent, the power of friendship, childish fanservice etc JJK is a bit more cynical/negative, etc In both cases the animation elevates the story a good deal I think the cheesiness is a feature not a bug, since hori really leans into it and the whole superhero schmuck makes me feel like a little kid again sometimes

burntlizard

Found out about patreon dms like right after I commented lol😅 but thank you!

BLUEMONKEY18

Having not read the manga, seems like we have our eclipse

LowHorizon

Thank you!! Wanted to confirm cause deadass could not remember when it was.

wanira 11

Omg the cat is adorable

Vince92

Is RWBY in the mix for future shows?

MacGuffin

I keep asking too, so I'm really hoping. Don't know how aggressive the new company will be about reaction vids on Youtube. But RT used to let the whole unedited vids go up. And even drew attention to the reactors themselves on some of the podcasts. So I think it would be a great choice for the channel.

gotmelikett

Sorry to piggy back as I’m sure you’ve probably already watched the first episode by now; but just to let you know that episode 1-4 of Frieren were all released together as an opener to the show. Just to keep in mind with each weekly episode that the 1st four were released that way :)

HBelmont67

You could ask either Day or Katsuki BakuGOAT

Babybear47

Honestly I don't remember watching this episode so it's like I watched it for the first time with y'all lol was a great first two seasons though!!!

Amir Shipp

I deadass subbed just to make sure there was a grassroots movement for RWBY and Undead Unluck in their future.

AuroraZero_

I am so excited and yet TERRIFIED for season 3 DX I have sooo many questions and I'm sure I could get many of the answers from the manga but like ahhhhh

AcedOnez

Its really not I think jjk is way better than mha but its not an objective opinion everyone like what they like
