Hero has a bit too much of a moral implication. I think the most comprehensive real world example for a hunter would be high-level consultant/contractor. The breadth of knowledge and scope of work best lines up with what hunters do and what society expects of them. So for better or worse the Hunter Association has a very diverse membership. In this world, you plausibly could see the most unknown people to major public figures like a Serena Williams, Greta Thunberg, Anthony Bourdain, Malala Yousafzai, having attempted to or successfully obtained a licence, but also Elon Musk, Andrew Tate, Henry Kissinger, Ghislaine Maxwell, Kris Jenner.

Hey watching this reminded me to check the schedule. I see yall still have episode 13 listed on the schedule, which is literally a pure recap episode with no added value to the plot. But if yall still wanna watch/react to that's yalls discretion of course. Just a friendly reminder

Montana did point out the issue of the lack of standardization in the testing, and it is something that is brought up different times in the series. Can’t expand beyond that because it’s spoilers, but you’ll get a better sense of why the Hunter Association sets up things this way and how some characters feel about it.

it’s getttting gooooood now ☺️☺️ the shows kinda slow starting but def an amazing intro to the world

Gdawg88

Letts React

We will skip 13, knew I was forgetting something with that schedule!

If you know what happens next episode I can't wait for it

Hunting for food seems like the most standard thing to hunt for. I guess it's like Witchers two swords, one for creatures, one for humans, but both are for monsters.

Rob Carlstrom

Based off the answer to my question and not wanting to kill things theres a certain character in the show I just know Montana is gonna vibe with, unfortunately we won't get to them for a long. Long time.

AJ Hutchinson

POTENTIAL MINOR ANIME SPOILERS Is it Kite?

Rob Carlstrom

CONTINUATION OF SPOILERS I was thinking knuckle. His whole thing is he doesn't want to kill "them" but struggles with it. But yeah kite too.

LeFlaneur

You know they see the spoilers, why are you two doing this?

Kleed44

Kleed44

hunters are required to know some form of combat technique, but there is no rule that says someone cannot be a master before joining. Look at Hisoka, he is clearly skilled and is an applicant next to gon who has no skill. But part of passing the exam is proving that you are strong in some way, look at the tests so far

Can we address the elephant in the room? Montanas APPA shirt is amazing!
