Been waiting for this !!

rebillihp

idk how it got in the poll. but i still think mob psycho would be an amazing fit for you guys. its a great story about dealing with emotions and growing up. and its only 3 seasons 12 epsiodes each so 36 total or t least very close to that number

Jinchuriki87

A shorter show? DOTA: Dragons blood

Jeison Walker

Yall should definitely watch mob psycho there's 3 seasons and it's only 37 episodes, I think you guys would fall in love with the main characters traits too

Rob Carlstrom

I will toss out blue eye samurai or castlevania as options!

yob

for western animation definitely recommend blue eye samurai(as per usual)it's basically arcanes sister when it comes to incredible 3d animation but if you want something longer but still withing that 60 ep range then castlevania is also insaaanely good

yob

me using every chance possible to recommend blue eye samurai and castlevania i will never give up😭😭

Sergio

Vox Machina!!!

David Garcia

Kaiju no 8 was far and away my favorite new show to premiere last year, glad you both enjoyed the ride for season 1!

HBelmont67

They might as well nickname the Defense Force combat suits "plot armor", cause how the HECK did Director Shinomiya not die from Kafka thrashing him around like that?!

Jinchuriki87

What a fun ride! And I'm stoked more is coming this year too!! Side note, not sure if yall caught it when it happened...but the guy who showed up with the giant blade after Kafka disabled himself, the blade in question was labeled "001" meaning it was a weapon off the FIRST numbered kaiju!

HBelmont67

Huh, I thought Mob Psycho was longer than that.

HBelmont67

Vox Machina should DEFINITELY comes on Thursdays! I've mentioned time and again WHY, but it's also currently three seasons of 12 episodes.

HBelmont67

One of the few manga I read before the anime came out. Met all my expectations.

HBelmont67

RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!

HBelmont67

If you wanted to shake things up and try a romance anime, Horimiya would make a GREAT stepping-off point. Great characters and writing, and it's two seasons.

HBelmont67

I can't WAIT to see more of Narumi in season two. He's probably my favorite character. 😁 Also, they should recognize his voice-actor . . .

真嗣 • Shinji

Blue eye samurai is fantastic western animation, and very short at like 12 episodes

HBelmont67

Wait, season two was ALREADY ANNOUNCED? And so soon?!

HBelmont67

Although, it doesn't quite line up nicely with Solo Leveling season two. That reaction should end in April, and Kaiju No. 8 returns in July.

StorytellerDave

I am once again asking for Vox Machina next <3 K8 was pretty dang good, I didn't know what to expect from it, but I like how it went down. Interesting worldbuilding in it.

Calvin

I would like to point out in my personal take of what number 9 said. "It is time to take back the power of kaiju's that festers in human hands." He has been shown to possess the ability to resurrect dead Kaiju. I think that it's possible 9 might revive the dead Kaiju material of the weapons and the suits.

Doofus

I still gotta recommend Trigun Stampede, 12 stacked episodes and only waiting for one more season to complete the story. Samurai Jack is a great western cartoon that I'm sure almost everyone has seen once or twice but never actually watched start to finish. And watching the original 2003 run of Fullmetal Alchemist after Brotherhood is a very weird experience. Another shorter one is the original 2 season run of Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex for sci fi.

Braden Jackson

The enhanced physical strength and shields

Braden Jackson

Would love to see them react to both on day

yob

🙏🙏

yob

🙏🙏

StorytellerDave

Well, he did say that he'd be dead if not for his shield. My question is, how in the seven hells did medieval or ancient peoples fight Kaiju if they're this destructive? Or did Kaiju advance in power with time same as humans?

StorytellerDave

Honestly I like Blue Eye Samurai, but they'll have one hell of a time editing it cuz that show is demonetization bait on similar levels to The Boys.

Praise the Omnissiah

Black lagoon is a great anime, the episodes are more self contained but you watch the main character evolve over the series, changing because of the things he goes through and needs to do

HBelmont67

Ooh, yeah! That's a good one.

Zelkova LRU

I would like to see you guys react to Psycho-Pass, has 22 eps and 4 movies.

Max Maier

Re-Zero should be on the list for you guys very amazing show

Max Maier

As for cartoons my reccomendations justice league unlimited and Batman beyond

Ferret

For western animation Vox Machina and Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld are both good options. For anime, I will continue to push Puella Magi Madoka Magica at you guys.

Shin-Ah

the ossan newbie adventurer

HBelmont67

I've heard about Jentry Chai. Is it new?

Ferret

Yeah, it released in September on Netflix. Very good series imo.

Ferret

Kenny, I think you're overestimating Kaiju no 10 here actually. Its fortitude is also off the charts high like 8 and 9, but it hasn't been shown to be nearly as smart as 9 is.

Alayna Petty

Every time y’all mention one piece my heart leaps bc the way you two WOULD LOVE it is indescribable

Calvin

Strong indication that there is mutual evolution occurring between humanity and kaijus

EndSoul995

i never got into One Piece but if they watched it I would. Too bad the entire big 3 is out of the question due to their episode counts

Blaster man1129

they'd have to do like triple episode uploads per day to even consider it and I doubt that would happen anytime soon if ever

TLKDesu

I am going to comment this just because I really want to see your guys reactions to a legit dnd story, you kind of get the gist of it with Frieren but The Legend of Vox Machina is a really great series with 3 seasons currently and I believe under 60 episodes

Alayna Petty

Yeah that’s a given, it’s just a dream. Definitely still worth it to watch on their own if they are ever interested though. It’s life changing

HBelmont67

I know that Spy x Family is a copyright nightmare; y'all've made that perfectly clear. That being being said, is there any chance you can watch that show as a Patreon exclusive? Other reaction channels do it. Heck, you guys yourselves watched Your Name back in September and have yet to bring it to YouTube. (Not complaining, just pointing it out.)

Jose Santos

I think you both would have an amazing time watching Windbreaker. Great characters, great animation, and the story the main character is so interesting. I would love to see what you both think of the show.

emptyJson

they should watch to your eternity

Lilgggg

You should watch X men 97

HBelmont67

I think Kenny's seen it.

Day

Ik the next show for this slot will likely be a western anime, but I just wanna put Bungo Stray Dogs, Apothecary Diaries, Horimiya, Tokyo Ghoul, and Another out there!

Vextipher

The first Castlevania series on netflix will always be my recommended western animation series. Season 2 probably my favorite overall.

Lui the Bean

DR STONEEEEE is like right abt 60 but has a season left

HBelmont67

If Spy x Family is for sure off the table, then the next best thing would be Buddy Daddies. It has basics the same premise as Spy x Family, albeit more realistic and down-to-earth. Regardless, it's funny, heartwarming, not afraid to get serious, and all around a good time. It's also only 12 episodes and a complete series.

Ramon Fax!

I strongly recommend RE zero!!!! It's one of the best Iseki series to date and the 3rd season is currently airing.

The_Chill_Buddha

I was kinda bummed that Young Justice never made it out of limbo, so that would be my pick for a Western animated series. As for anime, Spy x Family or Dr. Stone for a more lighthearted watch. And Soul Eater would definitely be a fun watch!

Lex

Blue lock is great!!

Lex

also, it's a longer series.. but black clover is amazing!!! It has such a unique main character. i have a feeling you'd both love it

Regan Gillespie

For anime: Apothecary Dairies, Ouran High School Host Club, Delicious in Dungeon, Kaguya-sama Love Is War, mob psycho 100, Fruits Basket, and I’m in love with the Villainess.

Regan Gillespie

For western animation: miraculous ladybug, tangled the series, star vs the forces of evil and infinity train.

Vince92

The perfect fast western anime would be RWBY. The first couple seasons are like 5 min each and then it gets very good. Maybe you guys could do a video on the four trailers and see how it does

Oromis

I'm super late to the discussion here, but I just used your reactions to rewatch S1 before starting S2. I have 2 theories on the motivations of the small Kaiju within Kafka: 1 - While he was going berserk, Kafka noted that his body was recognizing the director as a Kaiju, and when the lil one took over it was repeating "kill... Kaiju..." So it seems to have beef with its own species. No clue as to why. 2 - The only thing we know so far that makes Kafka unique is his close relation to Mina, currently Japans best/new hope. It could be a sleeper agent trying to get close to her but that seems like a very long con. Up until the battle with the Director I was definitely leaning towards the 2nd option since we just hadn't seen the lil Kaiju so far and Kafka didn't seem to have any drawbacks from this massive power-up. However with the lil Kaiju seemingly only taking over when Kafka is in danger, and having murderous intent only for someone it recognizes as a Kaiju, I think option 1 is more likely. Really curious to find out more about it and its motivations.
