Well if it isnt the consequences of my own actions!!

Invincible causes more tragedy 3x6

LegendsofJaz45

Why does invincible just have some of the worst parents of all time?

HBelmont67

The Rex and Rae stuff is really well-done this episode, even more so considering it's original storytelling.

KallaTheWatcher

If this was MHA, mark would've been charged guaranteed. Also deku would've taken Powerplex outside of the building to prevent the wife and child from dying. No question. Yes, Almight wasn't prosecuted for his fight with AFO. The only reason i can think of is that the Author didn't bother to write that senerio despite public distaste of heroes being presented in the same fight and more so as the series progressed. Also, it seemed that Almight got a pass simply because he's Almight. At best for punishment, if invincible was a MHA hero, he would've possibly gotten his hero license suspended, seeing as Heroes in MHA have to follow the laws put in place as well which was implied in the show. This includes public shaming from the citizens. It's really a missed opportunity to show the public outrage towards invincible even knowing that 3 thousand people signed a petition to have invincible investigated. It's even crazier to know that heroes in Invincible are above the law because there are no laws for situations like Mark vs Nolan's fight.

Suplee215

I think the DA is completely wrong trying to paint it as a the laws don't apply to invincible in that situation. I thibk thats fair is other instances but everything Mark did there was to fight Omniman and no investigation will go far enough to have a trial. I do feel for the guy as that I can't imagine my response but it's fair to say her words only helped give him a false narritive of the situation

Braden Jackson

Yo Mr white I don’t feel like cooking meth today yo I feel like cooking up some justice bi!!!

Braden Jackson

Yea it could be if mark was in control of the fight but if anyone looked at the videos without any hate or bias then it would be undoubtedly clear Omni man had complete control of the fight

Schlong Shucker

Bro powerplex’s wife supported his rights but more importantly, supported his wrongs

Suplee215

Yea. That said it's always hard to remove bias from a situation. Harder when emotionally clouded. But also due to his job he knows more info than the general public

Kristopher Sy

You can't have superheroes without parents that are dead or parents that suck

Letts React

Haha who was charged in MHA for damages? Not allmight after fighting afo haha

Bob Loblaw

I would throw Powerplex and his wife into space on the first day

HBelmont67

That was last episode

HBelmont67

Mark wishes he was half the hero Deku is, and I'm not ashamed to say it.

HBelmont67

Mark (referring to Debbie), Deku, Ochaco, Jiro, Iida; I could go on.

Suplee215

That's just it. He wasn't focused on collateral damage. He seemed to think Invincible was purposefully doing it kr something. Tracking the rationale of someone not being rational is hard but ultimately he needed someone ot blame and was doing it in a very u healthy way.

Braden Jackson

Angstrom really chose to instead of leaving our mark alone to hire a bunch of evil marks including the one that killed his son to try and kill the one good mark

Braden Jackson

Not charged but much more shamed by the public

Ferret

The thing I find most interesting about Scott is his line about "why do you get to live when so many died" because he *only* survived the building collapse that killed his sister and niece by random chance, the fact that he just happened to be out getting coffee. It reframes all of his actions not just as him being irrationally angry at Invincible, but rather that *everything* is him projecting his survivor's guilt onto hating Invincible because it's the only thing that keeps him from hating himself.

Braden Jackson

Yea Scott has a very realistic approach to uncontrolled grief in a super hero society

HBelmont67

Yeah, I felt bad for him last season, but he's gone full supervillain at this point.

Ghosty

Yall should react to Tokyo ghoul whenever yall get the chance

HBelmont67

Crazy how Eve is better at being an older sibling than Mark with Mark's own brother.

HBelmont67

Paul's panic at being in the flying car is so real. 🤣 Though, Debbie's nonchalantness makes me wonder how often they've done this before.

Letts React

Of course! That was like his first time EVER jumping up on a chair and hanging with us, had to share!

Joseph

I’d say the most dangerous marks are the ones in the middle including omni mark

Shay

And do what with the baby?

Fox Trot

And this is why I’m glad most members of this fandom have no power and won’t ever get any

Bob Loblaw

Whether I raise him myself or he is adopted it's much better than being pulled along by his parents to get unearned revenge against Mark, or becoming crispy from his dumbass dad and psycho mom.

Alayna Petty

Paul is my goat. He is so sweet🥹😭

ThatAnus

When it comes to eve's powers, and why they might seem so limited in this episode, I think it's simply because of budget. From what I heard amazon isn't doing a good job of funding Invincible so the animators try to save it for very very important things.

Schlong Shucker

Now to be fair I’d probably blame invincible for my wife and kid if I was powerplex, simply cause I couldn’t deal with the mental stress of knowing that I fried my family. I’d have to just cope and say it was his fault, whether it’s true or not

Alayna Petty

They nerf Eve 90% of the time. People blame budget but they could easily do so much more with her powers, like in the comics.

Fries

eve isn’t nerfed due to budget (she uses her powers the same way in the comics so that wouldn’t even make sense), the two possibilities is either that the writers don’t fully understand how powerful being able to manipulate matter is OR they purposely nerf her because she could end practically any battle within an instant if she utilizes her ability right

Fries

also creating a case over it and going over evidence and such would likely put marks identity in jeopardy given that the entire fight revolves around their identity

Fries

can’t believe mark threw jessi- i mean aaro- i mean scotts wife and kid into a volcano and then brought them back in a split second to gaslight him into believing he killed his wife and kid, shows the kind of “hero” invincible is, he can’t keep getting away with this

Sir Goose

Welcome, Bodhi! 🐈‍⬛

Juan Solo

I think All Might gets a pass, at least for his fight with AFO, because it was pretty clear what the situation was (long-time great hero fighting a guy who's clearly evil). Mark had only been a hero for less than a year when he fought Nolan, so it makes sense that he wouldn't have the public trust and reputation to give him that pass, at least for some people like Scott.

Juan Solo

I stopped feeling bad for him the moment he decided to hold Debbie and Oliver hostage. Everything he said to Debbie whenever they were alone made it clear that he slowly regained enough sanity to recognize that Mark and Debbie weren't like their variants, but that didn't stop him from continuing to hurt them. Angstrom is a lot like Scott in that way. They both couldn't process their losses (perceived or otherwise) in a healthy way and needed someone to blame.

Juan Solo

To add onto your point, it's more than likely that Scott blamed himself for not being there to help them (which he couldn't, but someone with survivor's guilt isn't going to think that way). That thinking slowly devolved as he tried to make sense of everything. 1. "If I was there, I could've done something to save them. They're dead because of me." 2. "Invincible was there, he could've saved them. Why didn't he?" 3. "Invincible didn't save them because he doesn't care about collateral. They're dead because of HIM."

Juan Solo

In case you forgot, the caped Invincible variant in yellow and black is the same one who killed AJ, the son of an Angstrom variant. The Invincible variant who's wearing what looks like a tracksuit killed another Angstrom variant's sibling/friend/significant other. Both were shown in S2's finale when Angstrom was sorting through his combined memories.

James Jones

Agreed and I think it’s the latter

blue_haruki

They say cats choose there owners not the other way around

BriBoo95

I feel like powerplex was just a broken man that needed help and his wife is the true one at fault he tried to give up every time he failed and she egged him on

mantis toboggan

very sweet story with the new kitty omg..

Vince92

*shows his GDA badge for an extended period of time* Five minutes later “oh does he work here? He’s hiding”

Jinchuriki87

Eh...pretty confident mark could have just slung that guy away from the building or something 🤔

Jinchuriki87

Also...I'm confused as to how powerplex's abilities work. Does the absorption bit cancel out damage? Because I feel like a sledgehammer to the face, or being crushed by a huge pile of debris would have still at least harmed him. Am I missing something? 🤣

Ricky Bobby

I see it as the kinetic energy is being converted to electrical energy too quickly for his body to be damaged

Ricky Bobby

Didn't know the Cat distribution services started doing door deliveries!

Jinchuriki87

That's kinda what I was speculating. Wasn't sure if there was more to it than that or if that's about what they were going for. Also...SHAKE N BAKE

Tyler

Powerplex’s wife sucks so much. He was clearly mentally unwell and she just goes and makes the brilliant suggestion of having them be fake hostages in front of where they fight

Bdflames

the reason eve doesnt use cooler stuff is budget

Hiro -kun

The most dangerous one is Sinister Mark, the one with yellow and black.

GiantGoober

"YEAH! ELECTRICITY BITCH!" - Aaron Paul

GenericStatue

Her powers are pretty much the same in the comics, that's not it.

DLCDallas

I think it has to due with children having more active imaginations

DCViper

If powerplex doesn’t say bitch I’m going to be upset
