Æther Paradox

This is my “last thing” I get to do before having to get ready for the day. Thanks for always being consistent.

Loving seeing your adventure through HxH

Jon Mondragon

You say poor Leorio cause he still hasn't learned Nen but you have to remember he has a medical career as well. So he's been improving in that mostly.

Azzy Drem

Remember, Hisoka decided on hunting the Spiders. That quiet scene was him looking for an opportunity.

I'm glad you know Melodys gender. Much like Kurapika she gets misgendered a lot. Myself inculded. There are actually many HxH characters that get misgendered. You'll see. edit: They may have just said it in the show, I dont remember lol

My take on the strength difference: While nen strengthens you up quite a lot, pure physical strength isn't to be taken lightly either, and in that department Gon and Killua should outdo most opposition after the Zoldyck training. The girl doesn't look that physical, and while looks can be deceiving, let's say that Gon wins in the pure physical department. If we then consider Nen; The Troupe is supposed to be masters here, but according to Kurapika's master if one is a Conjurer or Manipulator then their output in Enhancement is about 40% (there is spoilery stuff that calls this into question, but let's leave that out). So if we assume that she is one of those, then we have the situation where she slightly wins the nen enhancement battle at 40%, or have it be a stalemate, only to lose to Gon's physical strength. In that case she would probably be among the weaker strength-wise among the troupe, but still be comparable to a relatively new Enhancer-genius like Gon.

Montana: how can you take something so universally beautiful like music and turn it into something evil Kenny: yeah I thought of music like a math equation Guys, I think Kenny made the Dark Sonata

Franina

It’s weird because she’s one of the weaker members of the phantom troupe. And you don’t know how big the gap is between the weakest and the strongest member of the phantom troupe. So while Gon and Killua could match up to the weaker members of the phantom troupe saying that they could hold a candle to the phantom troupe as a whole is a bit of a stretch. Physical strength and Nen are two very different things. So even if someone could beat another person in brute strength they still could lose and be defeated in a nen battle.

Sooo excited you'll have started the York New arc and cannot wait for the next arc as well!! My favs 😋

Letts React

Haha music is one big math equation tho! Except the difference is once you learn the equations you can specifically disobey them to make unique music!!

The Hisoka scene at the church was him calculating his odds at being able to kill all the members there plus the boss. They say Annie was inspired by Pakunoda. I doubt that there are recordings and copies of the Dark Sonata, considering it has the power to kill. Probably copying the sheet music could also curse the one writing it. No, Shizuku used her right arm which is her weakest arm, she did not use her dominant hand. Just remember, Gon is still leagues away from Hisoka, and these are people comparable to him, and maybe even stronger.

cade-carter

this isnt even an accurate statement... Shizuku is a non enhancer who hasnt spent any real time on strength training and wasnt even trying her hardest. Shizuku would still wipe both of them in a fight, because strength isnt just how hard you punch... she would stand a chance even against later versions of them

narutorunner

Its very early still lol, give them some time

Franina

I was trying to say that the statement they made at the end of the video about Gon and Killua being somewhat close to the phantom troupe in terms of strength was wrong without trying to spoil them too much. I know that she wipes them easily but they haven’t seen the phantom troupe fight yet and I wanted them to come to that conclusion on their own without downright telling them that they’re wrong. They are still under the impression that Gon and Killua are these super strong kids who can face off with almost anybody and obviously that’s not true but they will see that as the story progresses. They even said that Gon was doing “well” against hisoka. So that lets you know they still don’t understand the power-scaling in the show. Plus just think about how they’ll react to what happens in episode 50. They’re gonna take that and run with it.

Franina

Yes I know I addressed that in my latest comment. I just try to tell them in the least non spoiler way possible that some of the their thought processes are not on the right track. It’s better than when the video finally reaches YouTube and then everyone just calls them stupid and are mean to them in the comment section because they’re not understanding certain things

Imani Brooks

And there it is! My favorite Killua outfit. He looks so dapper, lol. I always call it his "Rich Boy" outfit.

StorytellerDave

The ending song does go really hard, I like how they use it while scenes still play, the already start it. Link Click and Re: Zero did that too with their endings and it absolutely slapped each time. To be hero X also does it with, but with the opening instead, which is so cool, I love how they integrated the opening into the episodes.

Lettuce Pray

well I just had a spicy chicken sandwich from culver's

Maks Lesniewski

About "their paths leading them to Yorknew City", didn't Kurapika specifically request to get a job that would be done there?

Phoenix_mercury

Yeah unlike the others he doesn't need nen for his goal so it's not been his focus

dannydarko27

I love Melody's calming presence tbh
