FIRST!!!

The Legendaria

This is just getting better. Can't wait for episode 51

Kaleb

next ep saturday? I thought hxh was a two times a week one, I mean not complaining just curious

Kaleb

Thanks for clarifying love yall!

真嗣 • Shinji

Fun fact: the creator of JJK has an entire bookshelf dedicated to hunterxhunter

Ramon Fax!

Episode 50 the opening will change

GloriousDawn

What I really like about Nen is that theoretically, you can create any ability imaginable. It´s just a question of efficiency and "what am I inclined towards". I honestly can´t think of another system as adaptable as that.

StorytellerDave

14:40 - Yo this music sounds 100% like one of the tracks from Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. That just gave me a hit of nostalgia holy crap. I loved that game

David Treago

the absolute DISGUST at leech was hilarious. im not sure ive seen a bigger reaction about it lool i also think its so funny how much they hate shalnark. hes just a little guy :) melody IS best girl. She deserves the world

CadeNoCap

One of, if not the MOST iconic episodes of the entire show, is so close and yet so damn far away😩 I can’t wait for episode 51

FlameyLynx

Never would I thought I'd get instant relief from someone having their skull bitten into like an apple but i'll take it over having to see more of Leech's Floridian meth-head abilities

Letts React

Bro we just watched 47, it gets MORE PEAK?!

cLyNeSnOw

no one needs gon and killua here. lol

Limini

Kurapika would do so well in jjk

Limini

Leech reminded me of junji Ito it's so disgusting

Limini

I feel like it is set up that when he fights hisoka he uses the chains and then dies bc he doesn't know hisoka is only pretending to be a phantom or the real killer of the kurta clan is not a phantom or he wants to go after the people who hired the Phantoms tokillh the kurta and he says something like "you're going down with me" And uses the chains even tho he would die bc he wants that person dead so bad

Limini

Binding vows are my favorite power system

Uu

Yeah there not that powerful yet

Yuma Nanami

Ohh your that far ahead. Can't wait

Dajuan Banks

It's only going to get BETTER

CadeNoCap

From the moment the Heavens Arena arc started all the way to the current end point of the anime, this show does nothing but elevate its peak 🔥 I’m genuinely so excited to see all the reactions to this arc and the 2 after it. Probably the top 3 in the anime

Monk_008

We need a hxh slot Sunday 😩

Mary Baker

I’m not sure they hate Shalnark, they just find him off-putting because he’s so cheerful and looks harmless, yet he’s part of the phantom troupe.

Fox Trot

Did… Montana just predict Terror Sandwhich? (Not a spoiler- he’s Manga only)

DarkHorse24

The introduction to binding vows is what made the HXH power system even better. It's a good way to highlight crazy power ups without the popular "power of friendship" scheme. It also gave a valid reason as to how someone like Kurapika would end up being so strong in such a short amount of time considering he learned Nen the same time as Gon and Killua. Jjk also has a similar move too like Nanami with his overtime ability.

Swat Kat Saber

HunterXHunter is a ride! We're barely getting the car started!

Alseriph

You mentioned how Nen Conditions are very similar to Binding Vows in JJK. Nen is widely considered to be the best (if not most complicated an extensive) anime power system. A lot of other stories have taken inspiration from HxH and Nen specifically.

Andrew Blades

“Favorite episode” hahaha oh Kenny. You’re only a few episodes away from greatness this is just build up my boy. Might need a double drop on 47-48 btw

Andrew Blades

Oh you’ve already seen 47 haha. I knew you’d love that one it’s definitely one of the best hxh episodes

patricia jimjimcherie

19:15 just a clarification, if you know Hatsu in it’s application, you should know Gyo. Kirupika and the rest of the guards should all know Gyo, it’s just not constantly on. JJK took inspiration from HxH in many aspects, the binding vows are part of it.

DT

I noticed that, (maybe because this is the dub version and I’ve never watched it) but there is no subtitles to translate the Japanese text, even in older episode. Is there a way to fix that in the future?

MBH77

This arc is quite fast paced in comparison to the previous arcs. So much happening in each episode. Every arc in hunterxhunter feels so different from one another and it’s refreshing.

Uu

Yeah I agree there gonna feel that the most once they get to the Chamira ant arc.

Muna Adan

Melody is just so great. I feel like HxH doesn’t have many female heroes. But when they do, it’s so good.

Connor Walter

Btw kurapika can still use nen on others just not chain jail or he dies

dannydarko27

Now that we're learning more about nen and the whole power system, can you see the parallels to JJK and how much homage it pays to this series. Gege constantly praises HxH and exclaims how much it inspired him in his story; often working on JJK while having different HxH manga ch open at once lol

dannydarko27

I know people like Melody but I feel she's definitely underrated still. I love her presence

Franina

Also kurapika doesn’t need Gon and Killua to use gyo. If kurapika learned Nen from a master like Gon and Killua did then he obviously learned to use gyo as well.

Timothy Heck

It’s interesting to see the binding vow type power-up in another anime. I wonder if it’s just that HxH straight-up influenced others like JJK or if there’s some cultural significance I’m missing. Probably a bit of both if I had to guess

Eric

Oh the episodes are gonna get so good coming up for the next hundred

Jinchuriki87

I said it before and I'll say it again Kurapika is an absolute UNIT when it comes to fighting the Troupe!!! Can't wait to see these next few episodes!!!

Alayna Petty

This is one of my favorite episodes in the entire series. It is so exciting and blows the rest of the fights out of the water so far. Uvo is so fucking cool

Erin Ryan

what sort of terrible life do you have to live to have your nen ability be leech

Aj -

bro can we get h x h 3 times a week

Francisco Rubio

Talking about Leech, he had an extra organ, created by Nen, but that's enough bout him. oh please react to the first chapter of Hunter x Hunter 1997, it`s will give you more context and importants details of the show. As part of the fan group, we don't know why they omitted the events of that first chapter, you will understand as you advance further.

Uu

I know right what a terrifying and nasty power

LovelyAngel

I love how the phantom troup well some of the members are just playing bs.
