I love thorkell but christ from an in universe outsider perspective he is a literal monster, with his strength i would totally believe he was some avatar of a Norse god

真嗣 • Shinji

They did a really good job with the adaptation but there’s some panels in the manga where Thorkell is drawn like an absolute demonic monstrosity

oni

cant wait to see what u guys think of Canute....

Tyler Owens

I think this episode does a great job of establishing that Thorfinn and Askelaad are different from lots of those around them and Norse warriors in general. It’s not clear exactly how they are different yet (or even if they truly are) but they both seem to stand in stark contrast to others like Bjorn and Thorkell who truly enjoy and are driven explicitly by the pursuit of war / violence / etc.

Tyler Owens

Yeah Thorkell is portrayed in the manga as being absolutely horrifying on the battlefield. Near demonic.

HBelmont67

No surprise, Patrick Seitz did a great job voicing Thorkell. After so long as Endeavor and similarly serious characters, hearing him voice someone so jovial was a change of pace I didn't expect.

Franina

Top 3 episodes of this season for me

Franina

The next batch of episodes for the rest of the season are just 10’s straight across the board.

Delinda Arts

the ending review makes me so excited for you both to experience S2 mannnnn

Jade

Thorkell's animation is always so crazy good, this man is a character!

Erin Ryan

Thorkell is absolutely psychotic but he's so jolly you can't help but like him

Cation

It just gets better!! Can't wait for more

Sam Cam

Did you guys take down ur last hxh reaction I could've sworn I saw it this morning

Sam Cam

Than what happened to it ?

Letts React

we never posted it! Last saturday we did a double drop, so no ep yesterday. Next ep coming Saturday!

Sam Cam

Oh ok the schedule confused me than probably just losing my mind

VolcanoVR

At the end of the episode “his heart is weak like a child’s” they are essentially saying that because he’s a Christian

HBelmont67

I just realized that this fight is basically Jinwoo vs Iron from Solo Leveling again, only Aleks Le's the underdog.

Day

The juicy finger animation, squirting along the ride, was so uncalled for 😂
