Actually, the way Travis played Grog in the campaign regarding the obviously cursed blade was actually kinda hilarious. Later, when it won't be spoilers, I'm sure me or someone else will explain more.

I can see that, though I'm not sure how intentional it could've been. Was the character design even from the original stream, or was it created by the show's animation team?

Yeah the design is a reference. The studio worked on the Legend of Korra so there are Avatar references here and there. The character itself started as just a voice so he is not entirely a reference, just the looks made for the animation. Matt even cosplayed Viktor once loooong before the tv show was even an idea and he looked a bit different then.

I don't think it was intentionally a King Bumi reference, iirc Taliesin just caught Matt off guard with the request to find a "black powder merchant" so he made up Victor on the spot using a crazy prospector voice.

Sorry if I got a bit carried away with the not everything a roll in season 1. Forgot you do them in groups and stuff and so all comments can bombard at once.

Not everything is a roll but I am pretty sure Vex failed her seduction roll vs Kash. They should of had Keyleth do it, but that would be way out of character for her.

TBF, the long a sound in Vax and the short e sound in Vex can sometimes overlap. The Normies are especially guilty of this. I try not to dwell on it. :)

Yeah, that looked like a Nat 1 to me, too. 😅 Though I'm sure that was just a fluke. Zhara saying Vex isn't charming actually upset me. Vex, ie Laura Bailey? Not charming??

Zhara and Kash were actually guest players, where those players are voicing their characters in the show now. this was just the dynamic between the players
