Anna's heart wouldn't stop beating knowing that such evil people exist who don't fear god's punishment. Just as she felt no fear when she stole that ring. Do you think she was happy, sad, or relieved finding out that her stealing that ring is nothing compared to the evils that Askeladd's group have committed before jumping off the cliff.
